Is this the same process for a 2022 ram promaster 2500? Cause I can’t get it out

@@chrislossing1206 it’s different, 2018 and below have 3 acces ports on the back. Newer have a different access port on the side the release the airbag

there is a setting standard in almost all electronic deadbolts including the cheaper defiant models (also installed on all 50 units in my building) called "Auto Relock" where you program the lock in the same way you set the user code, to tell it how many seconds after you have opened the deadbolt that it automatically relocks or relatches itself. Its very usefull for not having to turn back around to turn the latch when you get home or have to lock the door with the key from the outside when you leave, just turn open, walk in or out your door, let the door close and the lock 5, 10 20...however many seconds you tell it to, will lock itself.

I have my code set, but for some reason once I shut my door and I’m standing on the outside I can’t get the screen to turn on. It will only then lock. I have to put the key in and unlock it and then open the door and then the screen will light up so it’s not really giving me an option to utilize the code to unlock it while the door is completely shut. Only when is open

@ you may have a pinched wire or something. I’d take the back off and double check everything

@@zbigniewrichard8291 I’ve never done it that way, but your scanner should be able to show you the battery charge while driving and record that data

@@ToolboxTipz Thank you for the reply. My scanner is Launch X431 Pro5, which is perfectly compatible with BST360. My problem is that I can't rely on "should be able to" assumption but on concrete facts. I am doubtful that the software in the scanner under "Battery Testing" has the capability to record live data. I am sure that BST360 sends useful data, but I wonder why such amazing feature was never advertized...
