The thing I like the most about PMJ is that it shows just how intricate modern songs really are. A lot of folks put down new music because they feel like it’s just a drum and baseline with a vocalist. Truth is, to make an acoustic recreation that does the original song justice, you really need a smart, talented, and varied arrangement.
Swing and jazz really is making a comeback. You have things like Postmodern Jukebox and the rise of electroswing like Caravan Palace. It's great to see.
You did all jazz, but what about the motown arrangements? "Elders" today were born in the 40s and 50s. Their music would have been motown, funk, and soul.

I love PMJ but honestly this wasn't a great selection. Gangsters Paradise, Or anything with Haley Reinhardt and/or Robyn Adele Anderson would have been better.
I'm 17, I absolutely love PMJ and listen to them every day! They're just so creative and skillful in the way they transform songs that I otherwise wasn't all that fond of. Such raw talent.
I love postmodern jukebox. My favourite is Haley’s cover of Creep. I love the original and I love the cover. Postmodern Jukebox also gives me more music I can do rock n roll dancing too that’s actually new
The happiness exuding from the elders is very infectious! I once read from an interview that Scott said the idea doing of PMJ covers is to make older generations relate and enjoy the kind of music we have in the recent times and this video is exactly telling us that he was successful on that. What I can't believe is how long it took FBE to get the Elders to react to PMJ.
I have to say, the songs PMJ has done with Puddles Pity Party (who is amazing by himself to be sure) and Haley Reinhart are the best covers of those songs. Just incredible work both in the change up with the genre's by Scott and company, and the vocals by the artists. Just amazing stuff.
I wonder if people realize that the "Elders" are probably 60 -70 years old which means they would have been in their 30-40s in the 1980's and 20-30's in the 70's and so on.
This is why I love PMJ. It's got everything I love about modern pop music, but it has the vintage spin on it that I just find beautiful. Robyn Adele Anderson has absolutely fantastic music like this as well, and it's amazing when the two team-up. I'm so glad they're getting recognition, because I feel like not enough people know about them. This was amazing to see

I saw them live and it was really cool. The tap dancing girl was there and she was sooo pretty. Haley was there and she sang creep and it was so beautiful 😍

I think what's so cool about Postmodern Jukebox is that it makes the generational breach smaller, making modern-day pop songs easier to listen for elder folks, and giving the youngsters a taste of the fantastic music their grandparents used to love and listen when they were young. (And I believe the elders' reaction might be a little better, because kids might not appreciate the old genres right away!)
The Sorry version was amazing, the way she sang the song with passion and things, just wow, I’m really obsessed with it, I can imagine it being an old hit.

AHHHH!! I've been waiting for this!! I love PMJ they are so great, and as a 90's kid who finds modern music to be lackluster, PMJ gives me a greater appreciation for modern music lyric writers. I should still love to see a kids react to PMJ just so we can decide which episode is better 😘
I loved catching these guys in concert, they were great. They tend to cover a lot of hit singles, so seeing them is sort of a greatest hits of multiple artists and generations. It's a fun show.

I also would be pretty excited to see Ruby sing with PMJ and hope if she does, then you guys do a react to that as well!

Right? People seem to think they reached their majority in the 20s or something. They're elders but not quite that old.
