Happy New Year to you too. 🎆 As you like metal so much, you would love "Hallowed be thy name" by one of the best and most succesfull metal bands Iron Maiden. There are 2 very good live versions, 1982 (with a young Bruce) and 2008 (with an old Bruce, but still with brilliant vocals). If you watch it, enjoy. 😉
Sarah Reich appeared a in several of PMJ's earlier videos. The best one, IMHO, is the cover of Michael Jackson's Thriller (featuring Wayne Brady), because the world just needs more tap dancing zombies.
When it's tap dancing on the level that Sarah is capable of, absolutely! Arianna is also the daughter of the late, great actor, Aristotelis "Telly" Savalas.
The one OG PMJ girl singer that you haven't really looked at yet is Robyn Adele Anderson. She is the OG, as she and Scott Bradlee were a thing when they came up with it all in the first place. While she does occasionally show up with PMJ these days, she has her own channel where she does her own covers in jazzy styles. I recommend her cover of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song in 40's swing jazz style as a place to start, it's my fav, but there are so many others that she has done. I think you'll like her.
Other tapdance performances: Gene Kelly - 'Singin' in the Rain' (1952) and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers - 'Swing Time' (1936). Don't see this art any more nowadays. This girl did a great job with the tapping. And i love that song. Still love a good Flamengodans with the foot tapping.
PMJ can do just about anything they want. Tap dance per se wasn't done on the dance floor much, more of a movie or stage production thing. During the roaring 20s and 30s the dances were the Charleston, Fox Trot, and the Shimmy. The dancer actually does some Charleston steps during her routine, wish she had worn a fringed dress to be more period correct. The Shimmy was outlawed in some places. Mid 40s to mid 50s it was all about swing. Late 50s and 60s it was the twist, mashed potato, the swim, the frug, the chicken. The mid to late 70s, with John Travolta and Saturday Night Fever, it was Disco.
The horns deserve some love here too! That build up at the end where everyone is going nuts, I could have 4 or 8 more bars of that. In a song about psycho behavior, more nuts would have been the way to go.
Dear Maggie, I love your video reactions. I'm not a musician or a singer I just love listening to music. I want to ask you if you please react to the song "Upward to the Moon" by Charlie Zhou Shen and Sa Dingding.
Tap or swing dance nice rag time piano. They're good both of them, tab is no Fred Astaire, but not bad. Famous father, Telly was a heart throp for alot if women, him and his lollipop 🍭, and Baldhead.
Maybe what was bothering you about this video s the same thing that bothered me: it's just a bad cover. The individual pieces are fine, but they're mismatched. Her vocals, to me, feel more like a 20s German Cabaret style, while the band is playing a Dixieland/Ragtime style. It just doesn't go well together, IMO.
please please please check this one out it's very short i really want your option Diana Ankudinova at "ShowMASKgoon" - "Can't Help Falling in love" please do this for me ps.she just doesn't sing she uses her voice as an instrument
I gave you a like of course, but this was the first time I almost gave you a dislike. Not because of your reaction or analysis, which was entertaining,as always, but because you made me feel so old. You read her bio and did not show even a flicker of recognition when you read that she was the daughter of actor Telly Savalas.

How about some love for Scott Bradlee, the man behind the piano, and, the GENIUS behind all of PMJ's amazing arrangements?
Thank you for your comment. And yes, Scott is super talented. .🤗

"Who Loves Ya, Baby!"
she was in all about the bass with haley and morgan
Loved this. Excellent analysis. Thanks Maggie (and Mike).
So glad you enjoyed! 💖🤗

How about some PMJ featuring Sara Niemietz
Ariana is an amazing singer. She does an excellent rendition of Billie Eilish's, I'm A Bad Guy. The violinist in the video is incredible!
Singing and tapping in French, Oh My! No "1" heard. Happy New Year Maggie!

The old adage is true...opera singers hear phlegmy breaths better. Love it :) Always entertaining Miss Maggie!!
LOL! So glad you enjoyed! 💖🤗
You've already heard Ariana Savalas in PMJ's All About the Bass... she's the soloist who isn't Haley or Morgan :)
I ❤️PMJ. Thanks!!!
She was in ALL ABOUT THAT BASS
So Sarah is a great dancing zombie with Wayne Brady in Thriller for postmodern jukebox. It's delish
Please do PMJ - all the small things w/ Puddles the clown
I love PMJ and whatever works for them... they had fun with it :D
One thing for sure nothing wrong with her knees or ankles loved it.
There's another PMJ vid' with two tap dancers, can't recall which, sorry.
what a question.....of course
Please react to PMJ cover of Lovefool featuring Haley reinhart!
Another singer, Sarah Neimitz also does this song, a little differently, and with two tap dancers.
Fancy the daughter of Kodak being a tap dancer !
Kojak even !!! 😁
Check out the taping in PMJ's cover of Taylor Swift's "Last Christmas" in Andrews Sisters style
"Last Christmas" was actually a song by Wham! in 1984, some 5 years before Taylor Swift was born....
Having said that, PMJ's version is great!
Is this a birthday present? Not one of my better choices., Or at least I hope not. Your reaction and editing were just fine.
LOL! Your choices are always good. And I hope you had a great Birthday! 💖🥰🎉
The horns deserve some love here too! That build up at the end where everyone is going nuts, I could have 4 or 8 more bars of that. In a song about psycho behavior, more nuts would have been the way to go.
Made in Scott's living room at the time.

Thank you for your comment. Will you be there for my 195K Subscriber Celebration Live Stream tomorrow?
is it also, being in the style of vaudeville and burlesque, a little looser... more sultry and seductive, and less rigid in the modern sense???
