The idea of the team equipment manager being upset about the players trading their jerseys is just stupid. They pay these guys tens of millions a year. The team can't afford to have more jerseys ready? Or just have the players replace their own jerseys?

I think the trading of jerseys is a awesome thing to do. It shows friendship, and Love of the Game as well as the players. The teams can afford to pay for those jerseys. They make enough money. I think this should be a tradition. It helps to bring good memories of and two these players who played the game of football in the NFL. It's part of their life, they should gain something to for their memories as well as their bank accounts. And those jerseys will be collectibles. Especially the ones that have been signed.
This is what preserves the comradery of the NFL. These men work year round to be the best athletes in the world and every person has a person that they appreciate and look up to in the league!!! This is a great video!!!

I grew up in Green Bay. The Packers have a practice field that is open to the public to watch and I used to go every day for practice. The field was right across the street from the stadium, and the locker rooms were at the stadium. So players would have to go back to the stadium after practice. Some would walk, and some would ride a fans bike while the fan held their helmet and pads. I would always let a player ride my bike and I'd get on the pegs and hold their helmet and pads. After doing this for years, many of the players started to know me and I was given multiple jerseys, gloves, quarterback hand towels, wristbands, and even a shoe and a facemask. Some of my most meaningful are for the 1996 and 1997 Packers. Those were special times and I'll always treasure those items.
