This reminds me of Highschool football, we would watch post game films on Monday during lunch. One Monday our coach spent 30 just minutes just rewinding and playing a specific set of play in slow motion. It showed an exhausted overweight front lineman never leaving his 3 point stance for 3 critical overtime plays in a row. Afterwards in front of the entire team the coach told him to clear out his locker by the end of the day. That kid went into a deep depression. A few months later he suddenly passed away. They said he had some congenital heart defect. Overweight, anti-social and unattractive by Mean Girl standards, Football was his identity, we all said he died from a broken heart.
That's heartbreaking and crappy coaching for not recognizing the kid needed to be subbed out in-game then absolutely horrible coaching for how they treated him after.
My high school football coach was an ass and overweight himself. Just yelled and cussed at us without rhyme or reason and built no respect between coach and players. It’s no wonder why we sucked as so many kids quit the team or didn’t even play because of him. It was a very negative and toxic environment. Football wasn’t fun, but we would dominate in little leagues and JV. I saw that the most successful football coaches were those who loved and respected his players, but was also hard on them when necessary (to a certain and healthy point). It’s a shame that high school football coaches take it so seriously. Many of them need to relax and TEACH, rather than just yell and degrade.

Cutler was just doing what he was told to do by the coaching staff. They told him not to do anything on that play (because that could have gotten him injured for nothing), and he executed that to perfection.

This reminds me of Highschool football, we would watch post game films on Monday during lunch. One Monday our coach spent 30 just minutes just rewinding and playing a specific set of play in slow motion. It showed an exhausted overweight front lineman never leaving his 3 point stance for 3 critical overtime plays in a row. Afterwards in front of the entire team the coach told him to clear out his locker by the end of the day. That kid went into a deep depression. A few months later he suddenly passed away. They said he had some congenital heart defect. Overweight, anti-social and unattractive by Mean Girl standards, Football was his identity, we all said he died from a broken heart.
That's heartbreaking and crappy coaching for not recognizing the kid needed to be subbed out in-game then absolutely horrible coaching for how they treated him after.

My high school football coach was an ass and overweight himself. Just yelled and cussed at us without rhyme or reason and built no respect between coach and players. It’s no wonder why we sucked as so many kids quit the team or didn’t even play because of him. It was a very negative and toxic environment. Football wasn’t fun, but we would dominate in little leagues and JV. I saw that the most successful football coaches were those who loved and respected his players, but was also hard on them when necessary (to a certain and healthy point). It’s a shame that high school football coaches take it so seriously. Many of them need to relax and TEACH, rather than just yell and degrade.

@@peytonlee6791 If he falls on the ball its 4th down and Carolina is punting with 4 min left. They might have got one final shot with about 2 min and no timeouts, but that's a long shot. Panthers lack of any WRs whatsoever and trying to block two HoF DEs (Miller and Ware) with journeyman tackles- one of whom was a defensive tackle two years prior- is what did them in. Cam was the best offensive player on the team. Broncos DBs could cover the Panthers no name WRs long enough for the front four to get pressure, (they didnt need long). If you could pressure Cam with four, you could win. No one else had been able to do that all year. Kony Ealy only getting 24 snaps was criminal too, man had 3 sacks, an INT, a FF, FR, and two passes defensed in 24 snaps.

@@peytonlee6791 I agree, his logic to TD was he was trying to pick up the ball and make a play, not just fall on it. I'm just saying the SB loss is not on Cam. He was under pressure 24/7 and no one could get open. Tolbert fumbling on the 40 and Cotchery's catch being ruled a no-catch were killers.

Honestly, that was going to be a triple regardless. It was heading straight for the deepest part of the wall. Pretty sure the professional who plays that outfield all season knows the alleys. That was the least bothersome one of the whole video.
