To be fair to Kalil, Delhomme was holding onto the ball waaaaay too long on those sacks lol
aolerma yeah no wonder kalil thought the play was over on one of them lol
Exactly! QB has no room to complain when his guys are giving him 5 seconds to get rid of the damn ball
Great points, coverage may have been good down field and Jake didn't have any options as well. It's plausible.
RonnyDonny13. Trip and fall
RonnyDonny13 I'm sure that the Browns could find a few more...
Lmao dexter mccluster *gets hit by Ray Lewis* "I was honored to be hit by him"
"I was in awe"
GarageDoorRapists I would’ve felt the same way haha
We all would lol
Gets up off the ground "Thank you for hitting me Mr. Lewis. I'm honored sir."
I would've felt the same way… as they were carting me off the field and getting my body cast ready.
RIP to the GOAT RB Walter Payton
NFL Top 10 you really should
The Sphinx come back 10 years and wait for bell to retire
The Sphinx Yep the GOAT
Zach Preda L bell will never be as good as Sweetness he's not even the best right now
The Sphinx Bell is most definitely the best right now, but I don't think he'll come close to Sweetness
Khalil wouldnt have given up so many sacks if Jake could get rid of the ball in this century...
Mckay Bushman haha exactly lol
Mckay Bushman haha he looked like his brother in that clip.
Mckay Bushman haha honestly I thought his protection was good, I mean he gave him like four or five seconds and that's excess second and a half
BPC agreed!!
His internal clock was broken
Walter was right. Once you get hit the first time, you ain't nervous anymore.
Would probably work for me. Because I'd be unconscious.
Ah yes. Ray Lewis destroys me on the first play of the game, I won't be nervous at all for the remaining three hours lol
You can't get nervous when you're dead
yea i played tight end and after the first play where all i did was block i felt confident and not nervous (every game)
Agreed once u get that first hit that adrenaline comes in and you’re ready to leave it all out there.
“Man. just block him”
Me: “Than throw the dam ball”
JB Studio Especially on that second clip. He had plenty of time just held onto the ball forever
JB Studio you spelled damn wrong
Smitty was the only guy out there, no one else could catch and they triple covered smitty
He did have that break a tackle of every player and score play in that game though
Carolina lost
JB Studio isn’t he a center and he still has to block
Real Talk💯
2:35 poor dude....what a last name to carry through life...
LMAO😃
Joseph q
LOLOLOLOL!!!!
Joseph Lmaooooo
Dont worry he rich
"it was a great honor to get hit by him.... and fumble the ball"
Lol
I lost it 😂😭
@Brendon Dixon Ed reed not a linebacker
@Jeremy Graul the quote is from the guy who got hit by Ed reed.
Robert Andrews yeah but that exact line was when he was talking about Ray Lewis hitting him
That second Khalil sack was on Delhomme. Ball should have been out of his hands.
Looks like he had room to run as well.
Fr he was literally sitting in the pocket for like 10 seconds
Not Morgan Freeman 7 whole seconds smh
As an ex lineman that rubbed me the wrong way honestly
Came here specifically for this comment. Stand still in the pocket for 8 seconds and that's what happens.
His story about Walter Peyton telling him he always gets nervous is so wholesome. RIP WP.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
“You gotta remember. The hardest you ever got hit in High School? That’s how hard everyone hits in College. The hardest you ever got hit in College? That’s how hard everyone hits in the NFL. Only the best make it through.”
More of these videos! Also, Rest In Peace Walter Payton ):
Harambe I miss you so much fam. when are you coming back
Hi
Rip Sweetness
Harambe R.I.P. you
Harambe l
Bless you, Walter Payton. The Sweetness lives on in the hearts of those you came across, and in the Halls of Canton.
"MY first NFL game was awesome! It was great! .. so *9/11* ....
Sounds like a Norm MacDonald joke
center of the world
@@P3TARK it was a national tragedy
“It doesn’t matter what race you were”
Unless you were middle eastern lol
Yeah but he's talking about the ten year anniversary (9-11-2011). Not the day of the tragedy (9-11-2001).
Legend has it that Delhomme is still holding on to that ball getting sacked.
Rest in peace walter payton
I see u Sphinx. No doubt RIP Sweetness. Man do we miss u brtha. We will always love & Admire u for what u gave us in Chicago.
Walter Sweetness Payton = A Man Amongst Men
4:15 that is the most white guy voice you’ll ever hear
Mga Talisayon I’m 💀 💀 💀
That’s the voice black comedians use to imitate white people lmao
Him and Evan Mathis
1:24
When I was a rookie in Carolina
Steve Smith went to my locker
Got my stuff
Sealed in in Athletic tape
Good old Steve Smith
2:54 he just literally stopped blocking
D lineman faked him out. Made him think qb threw it. Never seen that before.
"every game in nervous but I take that first hit and I'm fine" relatable
I got INSANE chills at 1:53 ... Crazy how times have changed 😭😭
NFL Films... everything you guys do is gold...
How old is this stuff? Says Haurbaugh is still the 49ers coach
I wish he still was
it says Bears Quarterback...he cant wear a niners hat because he left?
i think it was showing coaches and players past and present.. so maybe they wanted him to wear the hat cuse that was the last team he coached in the league? i donno.
It's a few years old. I mean there's a lot of players like Dexter, Mendenhall, and a few others who've either retired or don't play anymore.
and Bill Cowherd still in Pittsburgh?
What a legend. Rip 34
Joe Haden sounds like Wiz Khalifa
Steven Cox my exact thought lol
Looking for this comment lol
Steven Cox dam you right
I was 2 years too late lol. Said the same thing
Bill V lol same
One of these days, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that Ryan Kalil will utter the phrase: "I don't think so Tim"
RIP the GOAT
Seriously, do more videos like this one. This was absolutely fantastic.
RIP the GOAT Walter Sweetness Payton, hella nice video good lookin NFL films
I love how dexter said I was honored to be hit by him
Stories about sweetness always bring a tear to the eye... He was THE SWEETNESS
seahawk fan...my favorite is Matt Hasselbecks story. Such a down to earth guy.
3:22 damn, that track sync was on point, the track itself was awesome too
Walter payton sounded like a cool dude
3:00
This d lineman pretended like the QB had thrown the ball. Kind of waved his arm lazily at an imaginary ball and kind of turned his head like he was watching it, stopped his rush and sort of relaxed his body. And the the guy let him right by to sack the QB. Lol. That’s the veteran vs the rookie dynamic right there for sure. It’s a mental game too...
What a beautiful sport❤️
In football it always goes full circle back to sweetness. Rip
4:44 RIP Leslie Frazier
And Sweetness
RIP Leslie Frazier......? He's the DC for the Bills right now.
Donny S I thought he died in that one tragedy
Donny S the one with the planes
these kinds of videos are awesome
2:15 I love those moments. At a NM United game the speaker went out as the national anthem was played and all of isotopes park began to sing the anthem.
Love these videos!
Paul Posluszny's neck.....bruh
Melvin Gordon's welcome to the NFL moment: his rookie season.
Nathan Cady Lmao
Lol now he's a beast
Funny you bring up Melvin Gordon, I'll always remember him getting hit by Ziggy Ansah in his first NFL game and the announcer actually said "welcome to the NFL"
RIP Sweetness :( my all time favorite player
Ray way one hell of a football player. Look how many guys were in awe of him.
Dexter got rocked by 2 of the greatest hitters in nfl history in the same game as a rookie, awesome
And he got up both times and walked away.
What an unfortunate name at 2:33
Fil H lol
Fil H
LMAO😤
you gotta tell the other kids its french and it's pronouned fahJEAN
I feel bad for him lol he prolly got teased all the time in grade school 😂
I loved it! Especially the last story about Peyton :)
RIP Jim Harbaugh, gone (from the 49ers) but not forgotten
That last guy and Payton's speech spoke to me on another level..
My favorite video so far.
never gets old
That intro is gold.... the first time I got rocked in college😂
Dam..I can listen to this kinda stuff all day..the best one was the last one w/ Harbaugh talking to legend W Payton..."You nervous?..nah..was only a preseason game..meanwhile..I wanted to throw up in my helmet"..lollol
Walter Payton... What a legend and an example for every NFL player
Sweetness...RIP
2:25 that one Canadian in the stands
Yea i remember the Redskins vs Giants 9/11 game. It was Ryan Kerrigan's first game too. He had a pick 6. He tipped it up to himself on the goal line. Now he is a beast.
Johnny Hekkers little Ray Lewis Ed Reed anecdote is such a classic punter response
I love you nfl films
Damn dude sweetness was a sweet human being, RIP.
Man, I still can't believe Steve Sabol is gone.
I'm a huge Bears fan. I love you Sweetness I'm only 17 and never got to watch you but damn hearing about your legacy I wish I was alive to see it. 💯 I always get nervous before games that's why I quit football my freshmen and senior year. Guess I need to follow his advice. After the first hit I'll be fine.
"I was honored to be hit by him"
lmao I’m dead
As a huge Cowboy fan even as a kid, I did my 1995 5th grade presentation on, Sweetness. Greatest running back of all time.
very rarely do you ever see a running back today displaying 3rd and 4th effort on a play the way Walter Payton gave 3rd and 4th effort on every play, every time. there is no way to put into words just how special he was on the field. Barry Sanders was that way also. Its not that they aren't trying today, its just that guys like Payton and Sanders just had such tremendous balance and strength and athleticism and will that they were just able to find a way to stay on their feet and keep moving forward.
I won't say it's what I admire most about the two of them, but also that both of them played most or all of their careers on bad teams, accomplished so much, and gave heart and soul to their respective team. I'm glad WP was a Bear, but I try to imagine what he and Barry might have accomplished had they played on a dynastic team like the '90s Cowboys as did Emmitt Smith.
a prayer at 2:36 for my man growing up with that last name
Oh yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah yeah
I would like to see this as a longer segment.
At 2:55 it looked like Kalil just thought the play was over or something. That's hilarious.
3:05 Vintage Jake Delhomme. Favorite player of all time.
Just made my Sunday.
They should do another one like this.
"Put her in the ol' vice!" I'm actually wheezing.
Lol Ryan Kalil, that was awful, at least he got another chance to play again.
Orange his jake imitation was spot on. Haha
Orange lol just block em!
Orange well the qb did hold onto the ball for years
Blake Bortles has like 200 of the "Welcome to the NFL stories" hahaha
That’s so true about what Walter Payton said. I’m always nervous about a hitting drill or a game but as soon as I make contact it feels all good and I’m anything but nervous
2:20 not anymore sadly.......
oh... yeah.... that's really quite upsetting. Hey, remember when politics wasn't involved in the NFL? I do...
Pedro Smith notice how he said "that day" yup it was that day only when everybody felt equal. September 12 is business as usual
@@deiondre0 We are all equal. Don't let shitholes like Kaepernick try and divide America along arbitrary "race" lines.
deiondre0 everyone is equal
around 2:00 ... wish 2017 could relate
Walter Payton sounds like he was a hell of a nice man.
jon fuller well I mean he created his own foundation for children in need so idk if he’s nice
The award for nicest guy off the field is named after him for a reason
I remember one of the '85 Packers-Bears game one of the broadcasters saying that the GB players said they absolutely hate everyone in a Bears' uniform. "Walter Payton?" "Well, Walter's okay, even if he is a Bear."
Steve Smith Is something else just a completely underrated football personality
Classy by McCluster. Respect the respect he showed about Reed and Lewis.
I shed a tear... SWEETNESS :( Edit (guys I meant a couple tears)
SWEETNESS
that scream...
I remember my welcome to high school moment lmao
Love it
Walter Payton is someone that I would've loved to have the chance to meet. I completely understand the feeling of being nervous before every game; you get that wobbly feeling in your legs, your sense of awareness goes thru the roof, and then bam you're in the game. I get the same feeling as a pro wrestler before every match, then you go thru the curtain and everything changes
Please do this for every rookie class!!!
At 2:36 I feel so bad for #38
Rest in peace, Walter Payton! Great video!
Close ur eyes at 0:58 and tell me you don't hear Wiz Khalifa talking
gramerpolise lmao
Wow. Things have changed
Harbaugh at the end was great
Who doesn't love Walter Payton?
Walter is my 2nd favorite RB next to the GOAT Barry Sanders.
Awesome
2:35 look at the Texans players 😂😂
Johnny Hekker's should be when he punted the ball and saw Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril running straight at him after he cheap shotted one of them.
Sweetness
Anybody know the name of the background music that starts at 4:36?
yankbastard I’m tryna find out the same thing!!
