@Rasmarkus62 I'm learning driving in the UK, and struggle to do parallel parking with the right side mirror.....Can I use some features on the right hand side of a car (e.g. wheel arch, handle....) seen on the right side mirror to determine when a full lock away from the kerb should be applied?
Either technique is fine. I teach full lock because some pupil don't know how many turning they put in when using 1 left, 2 right and then 1 left at the end. They find it easier to remember the full lock technique.
@@Valgasdriving Thanks for that is there any other reference points to alert you to full lock to right or is the doorhandle near your kurb the only one
Yes. Once the kerb reappears in the left mirror you look to see if the front of your car is straight then turn back to the left (towards the kerb) to strighten up
Hi, can I use my passenger side mirror when it align with the other car full lights before locking full on the right instead of the car handle to the curb please?
Yes you can. There are no written rules on doing it to be fair, just guidances. To be honest the reason why I use the kerb is because the back lights varies according to the make and model of the vehicle you are paralleling next to, i.e., higher vehicle light will be much higher that a very small car. However, the kerb is the same regardless of where you are doing it. Even if it is a dipped kerb it works just the same.

Whats the difference between full locking left at the start because some people do one left turn and one right turn

@@abdurhussain3008 front of the your vehicle pointing towards the 1pm position. Think of a clock and go past the 12oclock position.
@@Valgasdriving Then after the full lock right and the car is in . One and half turn back left to straighten the wheels?
@@abdurhussain3008 that is 100% correct.
Please after the full rock to the right did you have another turn to straighten the car and reverse?
Thank you
