really great tutorial. i own the same 1100 and have been doing a fair amount of maintenance lately and your video(s) really answered a lot of questions, especially this one. thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial, I also own a ZRX 1100 thats a bit of a problem child so Im probably going to have to do this job sooner or later too 😥 Grüße aus Frankfurt :)
Hey, great video! I have a ZRX 1100, too. Would like to see your video on fork service, ASAP :-D In 2 days I want/ have to change the fork seal (Simmerring) on the right side on my own.
Hey thanks a lot for your comment! I'm actually gonna start editing it tonight so if you're lucky it will be online by the weekend ;-) I unfortunately ran into troubles with the spring preload at the end of the video and I fixed it a couple of days later. Feel free to ask questions after seeing the video ;-)
@@brucesmotorcycleshop3729 I'm waiting for it :-D I'll try it first "the dirty way" and with not removing the spring. But if I have problems, I need your video ;-)
Wie war das nochmal bei der zrx 1100. Muss es ein silikathaltiges oder silikatfreies kühlmittel sein? 🤔 Du nutzt wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe einfach das g12 von VW oder?
Haha that's one way. I go full distilled now why not... It's pretty cheap 😉 at the end with a good coolant at don't think that it really makes a difference.

Immer Silikatfreies für Motorräder (alu motor) G30 ist Silikatfrei! 😉
Amazing!
The manual says distilled water
That's good to know! Thanks for the info ☺️
Yes, the mix should be 50/50 coolant and distilled water. And the coolant should be silicate-free.
Will you doing any work on the Zxr behing ?
No I no longer own this bike either😬 this use to be our track bike with my friend James but we sold it and bought an old R1 😉
Frm malaysia thanks
Nice. Thanks.
Do half tap half distilled
Haha that's one way. I go full distilled now why not... It's pretty cheap 😉 at the end with a good coolant at don't think that it really makes a difference.
Zach Adams, more bad Internet advice. The proper mix is 50/50 silicate-free coolant and distilled water.
