This famous harbour town is perfectly situated for trips out to Port Isaac, Padstow, Newquay, Looe, the Eden Project and many other famous Cornish destinations. In this longer tour, we're walking Polperro village and harbour - right up to the tourist car park that marks it's entrance.

Preposterously picturesque and provocatively poignant with global warming so increasingly urgently being spoken of in the news now. I bought some nice, local pottery cup-sized mugs in Polperro some forty years ago now. Only one still left. Thanks for the memories. Excellent!

Could not imagine how bizzare of Great Britain only an island country but the past 233 years able to conquered a huge continent of Australia in 1788.... Unbelivable
Quite so Paulo, at least the cars are only for locals, no other cars are allowed in the town, which is good as the roads get really tiny. I do have many more if you ever feel like another walk along with me? Best wishes to you.
Beware of unintended consequences. Forgive me if i am wrong but you may not be aware that there are 2 sides yours and others walking tour videos. That is, to many of us, you highlighting villages, towns and cities in all their glory shows the true side, not the romantic side, the "brochure" view of a place and whether it is worth a visit.. Having watched this video, Polperro will definitely NOT be on our "to visit" list. eerrgh! Shell cottage? council house tutt. Thankyou again for the heads up.
