@@lennondevan342 whatever you gotta to do to make it work lol. When I 1st started it took me almost 4 hours to get a sound out of my keyboard 🤣 ready to throw it out the window
@@Nocsucal-BeatGod I took gr1 beginners classes last year and lord that shit made a difference I swear☠️ it taught me enough to keep learning my self after but it only lasted two months☠️
You can do the same (similar to FL) by going into Simpler - Controls - turning on glide. Now just shorten the higher notes (still with the lower notes underneath) by 1/32 or 1/16 or however long you want your glide to be. I prefer drawing the lines though, easier
i guess its alternative to FL bcos they did put "slides" in into Cubase but its programed very differently then in FL and dont sound as good, dunno for other DAWs
Hey! I'm from Brazil, and I need to thank you for the advices in this video, cause I'm searching for this way for work in my beats... And don't found it in portuguese. I'm very grateful for the advices. God bless you bro!
@@Zdrewe hell yeah. I sent my bro some for this drill beat we were collabing on and he wasn’t feeling them. So I went and watched this video and made more and he sent me the finished beat back 20 minutes later!
Great tips man! , Immediately subbed as i came to your channel , Wish you all the best on your youtube journey btw :) keep making bangers! and my answer will absolutely be the almighty FL studio!
YOOOOOOOOO!!!! out of all the tutorials on 808 slides you are the only one who mentioned to used ghost notes to slide to. MANNNN thanks #subscribed p.s. can you demonstrate how to do this in sublab?
Thanks a lot man! Ghost notes are really convenient for making slides. Speaking of sublab, I don’t have it but if it has the MPE support, it will work exactly the same as simpler
Daamn Bro I love everything about this Video!!🤯👏🏼 Great Job on the editing and visuals and of course the Beat went hard as always!! You also really really make me want to get Live 11 haha that Note sliding feature seems incredibly OP!🤯 Super excited to see more videos of yours in the future man!!🖤🖤
how do you get your note expression window to have snap, my automation is really annoying and does not move in semitones, it's really irritating to work with. Thanks, good vid btw.
Something is wrong with my ableton. I can't do it in my program. It looks a little different. Slide Line doesn't show up for me and looks different than in the video 🤔Maybe I need to upgrade the ableton version, because I just installed the program🤔
Hi man thx for this and sorry for my english. I dont see the note expression tab in the note section.... i dont have 3 tab but only one called "notes" and note expression is not here... i use ableton 10.1
hey thanks for the video! I learned a lot. I had a question tho, cant you just single voice an operator and turn on glide? wouldnt it give u the same effect? Then you also dont have to do note expression and just write notes on top of each other
When using the glide function available in stock synths or sampler you have to set a glide time but then it's fixed, meaning it'll be the same duration for all overlapping notes in you sequencer whether there are short plucky glides or long-ass 808's. Although you can try and set an average working glide time, you'll never achieve perfect gliding like those possible within FL or by using this new live 11 technique shown here, which grant maximum control on a per-note glide time basis.
No worries, it’s there. Once you go to midi clip editor there are 3 tabs on top. One of them is MPE. You can go and watch my latest vid - I used MPE midi tools and you can see exactly where it is in 12
Last night I was surfing the net and I discovered it myself. but thanks anyway, if I hadn't found out, you would have saved me. I'll go straight to your video anyway out of curiosity
