@@skmakesbeats i have previously tested the method you showed in this video (but like i said, the other videos i heard about the note expression method from were much worse than this). The problem was that since i suck at Ableton i was unable to judge which method is actually better. Actually the thumbnail alone convinced me to click since there was a clear "this dude actually has an oppinion on which is better" feel with the X's over the glide time and extra notes. Thanks I appreciate the share. This video was only my 2nd ever video I recorded (I have only been doing youtube for 4 months now). So the fact people find it useful really means a lot to me. I think the reason why there is so many pitch bend and glide method videos around is because the note expression tab was new for ableton 11 (which only released in 2021) so previously to that there was only the other ways. It does take a long time to do the glides in comparison to the way people do them inside FL studio, but the level of control on the note automation is amazing. I find this method works really well with a little practice......its also great for recording like long leads like westcoast synth leads.....or long strings and using it to pitch bend them melodically (think like old westcoast beats or like scott storch used to do with middle eastern style strings)
