I think it’s because when you tune them down to C they sound bad / unusable sometimes. So they just keep them at the heaviest hitting note so you can preview what it would sound like in a potential key that you’re using.

nice .. about setting time for gliding .. you can also do it like that: set your grid on 1/16 and then with your mouse click and drag on your grid so you mark only one column and look at the bottom left side of your screen where it says time selection .. duration and you see 107 for 1/16th grid. It doesn't go so much in detail like you have 107.14, but it's really close. tnx . enjoy!!

I'm having su,h a hard time figuring out how to get certain sounds such as an 808 bass into a piano roll... usually I'm only able to use them in a drum rack or as an audio clip
Create a new midi track and drag the sample in to the track and ableton will give you a sample. Also check our my other 808 videos I break it down from scratch
@@JONTHEDREAMER dude I got it lol. I just had to double click the sample to bring it in,then create the MIDI track and I wasn't getting sound until I hit the small play button on the MIDI track
I would like to know how to do this with a VST plugin. The bass im using is on arcade. It is basically a synthesizer with premade sounds. I will try and figure out how to do it, but if anybody knows please help.
aye dope video bro! the only limitation to this is probably that you have to stick with specific note value based on glide seconds tho right? (1/4, 1/2 notes, etc.)
Nah I only set the seconds once in this video and then showed you the different note divisions after. As they’re multiples you’ll get different divisions working

tip for you: if you want to copy the same note an octave up, just click the note, hit ctrl+C, then ctrl+V and last shift+arrow up.
