If your sample has a noticeable bassline like this one did another way to get the notes accurately would be using an EQ Eight (in full mode) or Spectrum (in either view) you can hover your mouse over the fundamental frequency and that'll tell you what note it is in the bottom left. That might be a quicker more accurate method than ear which it can be easy to be a half step off. At least that's the method I have been using and it hasn't failed me yet.
