They called me a mad man... Genuinely most of the hate I've got on RUclips over the years consistently has been for criticising Mr Beast. I've had plenty of people allegedly with the same politics as me saying they legit can't support my channel because I criticise 'good guy' Mr Beast (😂). But little did they know I'm Muad'dib - I called out Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk, Mr Beast, Russell Brand and many others very early on before the public turned on against them and have been vindicated on all of them. The problem with Mr Beast is the 'Mr Beast Defence Squad' - think of Moist Critikal, The Act Man, Asmongold and plenty of other gaming and commentary RUclipsrs who would basically defend Beastie Boy from any and all criticisms and deployed whenever he had controversy - I mean except when Ben Shapiro and others were attacking Mr Beast and then suddenly they all went 😶🌫️ My main point of this video is for you the viewer to remember to be distrustful of wealthy people who both flaunt their wealth and show themselves doing 'good' deeds. Because if they are a social media personality it's likely all designed to create a brand. It's also a reminder for you to not get your opinions from your fav millionaire content creator who is friend with other millionaire content creators...

But i did have eyebrows slightly raised ever since team trees because he literally destroys stuff sometimes. Not saying i completely saw through his act but never once did i glaze mrbeast for all the charity he did because at the end of the day he still made a video about it. I guess How Money Works is going to be right about the influencer bubble after all.
I’m pretty sure Jacksepticeye had called out MrBeast too and was also dogged on for it (for context, he had said that MrBeast was super greedy in his content for views, and everyone had basically been like ‘well he’s a RUclipsr all RUclipsrs are basically greedy for views blah blah blah.’ And they just completely isolated his idea of it.) Jacksepticeye is also a HUGE RUclipsR and NO ONE was on his side. The people who defend him are CRAZY
I wish YT *never* allowed monetisations, so people make videos out of genuine will instead of money drive. Now it feels like big YT channels are no different than mainstream media channels.
@@linkfreeman1998i don't know. Im happy for the RUclipsrs I like to get paid for their time and effort and I get to enjoy the videos for free. Even if they got rid of monetisation altogether they would just have sponsorships or something instead.
Parasocial is that, you developed so much affection because the content creator is always interacting with own views and even showing some more personal things that you create that image of this character is real. When face with reality, this is kinda a slap on your personality, if you create so much affection that the person become some of own personality, and/or a slap on personal friend because you thinking you "grow up" with him sharing his "personal life" with you. Still not recognizable as a condition, but many professional affirm this is real, just doesn't have enough studies and database to everyone agree since is too new, I mean youtube blow up out proportion like 14 years ago?
I witnessed a 9 year old boy at Walmart throwing a tantrum demanding his mom buy him mr beast chocolate or whatever it was. His reasoning to his mom was mr beast might be here and give them money. His content is harmful to children.
That ends up being a parenting issue. As in the parent letting RUclips videos raise her child to act that way in public. It’s a stretch to say he’s actually harming viewers, but there’s still a moral case where saying he’s really scummy in how he builds up his audience. That still invites due criticism.
I dont like Mr. Beast either but come on dude, you have to realize that's not a good point in the slightest. That can be literally anything an angry nine year old likes.

Never trust a dude who says he puts 100% of the money he makes back into his channel, yet still has enough money to buy out an entire neighborhood for his company town... Mr. Beast is a clown.
His channel is his company and vice versa. As a fan from the edgy 2016 best & worst intros era, it’s always been clear that mistreating people and coercing people (especially kids) for clout is the agenda. It’s what makes money and he’s intelligent enough to flip the money to make more money. I’m not gonna bring politics into it due to being pretty offline nowadays, but he’s absolutely narcissistic and he somehow managed to do a Dunning-Krueger-esq graph with his shown narcissistic tendencies and we’re at the bit where it’s skyrocketing back up due to getting in with the big TV guys (see the time he brought in an old TV presenter that everybody over 30 in the room knew in the 100 people aged 1-100 win X amount of money vid).
Rule of thumb, if he is pushed super hard by the Algorithm and is famous out of the blue then chances are that he/she is an industry plant pushed by some suspect forces.
The only real shock.is how many grown up people DIDN'T realise he was an exploitative, scamming twunt all along. The internet and influencers have made a lot of folk entirely devoid of the art of critical thinking 🙁
I can't understand parents who let their kids watch him. Neglect seems to be at an all time high with the Internet. Parents are literally letting strangers on the Internet raise their kids.
Critical Thinking is a hard skill to developed, this need first to include a big hurt season, mentally and own ego. How much people will really thinking about himself and said "Woah, I am a really piece of S... if I thinking that way, so maybe I am so loser as the next person I called as a loser." to then start to trying to fix little by little. You can't developed a critical thinking if still ignoring critics against you that can be true.
Most of us grown ups have had better things to do in our lives than to add MrBeast into the list of items to pay much attention to. And I don't have young kids.
It’s so weird because squid game was a commentary on rich people and how they exploit poor people for amusement and money and stuff like that and people are literally re-creating it and missing the entire point of the show. They’re literally using these people for entertainment and gain more money it’s so weird
tbh i didn't even know Squid Game was a series nor did I know its messaging. i only knew it for the literal games it had, and learning that it was a series insteaad of a movie kinda turned me off from it. though learning what it's a commentary about made me appreciate it a little bit more.
I was saying this! In fact, squid game essentially watered down how bad it actually is irl while still telling the story very clearly and concisely. Some black mirror type stuff
I hate how Mr. Beast online is immune to criticism in the mainstream. When he made his squid games, you couldn’t critique him for not understanding the point of the show. But when the Netflix Squid Game show came out, those same defenders used that argument to hate on the show. It was completely hypocritical.
I didn’t know what squid game is about, and after learning it’s about capitalism, this is parallel to the met gala’s “let them eat cake” thing in terms of messed-up wow 😮
@@euphorical1679 Well it claims to be able Capitalism, but it doesn't understand that and lands up being more about Communism/Socialism. I feel the Capitalism part was just tacked on afterwards since the story in Squidgame is literally 1-for-1 lifted from Saw 5, lol.
the most wild part of this whole saga is that it was ROSANNA PANSINO who brought the callouts to public attention. the OG cute baking youtuber rosanna pansino
Sad to see many people attacked her for calling the game rigged, now that it turn out to be true she deserve an apology from many content creator that discredit her by calling her a petty loser😢
Yeah, that's wild, the girl from nerdy nummies and one of the least controversial people in this whole platform even though the bar is in h3ll for that.
Like why would she be a petty loser? She's got money. She got fame. She enjoys the company of people she collabs with. Her enjoyment is from baking which isn't being hindered by a game show video. I haven't watched her for a few years now but there's no way people who were aware of who she was could think she was being... greedy? Eh??
Well it's because Rossana made it to Hollywood before Jimmy even created a youtube channel. She is a multimillionaire and can afford to speak out the the truth. Others need the cash!
@roseanne1466 my understanding is that the money didn't actually go to her, but rather the contestants were representing charities. Her charity wouldn't not get the donation she had rightfully earned for it.
“Squid games on steroids times a billion.” Mr Beast really needs to stop romanticizing Squid Game like its some sort of happy go lucky game show he can use for clout. Its supposed to be a satirical criticism of corporate greed and the oppression of the poor by the wealthy. The show is meant to be a poetic “fuck you” to people like Mr Beast who exploit the less fortunate for their own benefit. And all he sees is something he can make money from, completely spitting in the face of the guy who literally lost teeth from the stress of the show’s production.
We truly murdered and buried the satire then we are now dancing on the grave of it. How unbelievably ironic is it that a few years ago a completely "fictional show" about criticizing the likes of Mr.Beast aired then not only did he miss the point but double-down to bring it to reality? It's crazy to me how much this flies right over people's heads as it is unfolding right in front of our very eyes.
seeing how his BeastGames is going, im pretty sure he wants to make Squid Game into a reality ( which, to be fair is the most terrifying thing anyone can do. )

I would love to earn his stupid prizes as a disenfranchised person but too bad half the time he's giving away prizes to people are already well off lmao
I think a large part of the apathy for the homeless is because we call them homeless which dehumanizing in that it sounds like a condition which is for the "experts" to deal with like charities and government rather than recognizing that they are your community like everyone else. I think calling them poor or beggars while sounding harsher would help for people to associate their problems as not some sort of epidemic to deal with but as people who have always been around like when Jesus talks about the poor and the cripples(handicapped) that we still have those.
Another thing to note: if Mr. Beast's game show is dangerous and cutting safety corners then the people exposing the conditions arent breaking the NDA because an NDA cannot cover things done illegally whether intentionally or otherwise. Thats like saying the guy that got carried off on a stretcher isnt allowed to talk about how he ended up in the hospital in the first place. I'll watch them for a little bit, just to make sure there is no bad language, sexual stuff, etc. my ex-wife is pretty vigilant in terms of their access to the internet, like restrictions, time frames instituted technologically on how long they can be on the internet, etc. whenever I have any questions about this stuff, I asked her. A small part of this catching up process has been me watching a bunch of videos recently regarding mrbeast downfall, his best friend that transition into a woman and all those allegations, etc. this whole thing is morbidly fascinating to me. I do feel like if I have followed mrbeast from the beginning,, I probably wouldn't have liked him either. One of the most ironic things I've noticed about believers in effective altruism is their utter contempt for the poor. Whenever someone criticizes Mr. Beast for his charity stunts, the common retort is, "Well what have _you_ done?" The fact is that most of the people who work for charity come from the same communities the charities are meant to help, because they constantly live around those in need. Most charity volunteers are themselves poor or working class. They'll work themselves to the bone, yet it still isn't enough to reach everyone who needs it. Proportional to the amount of wealth they have, they are giving far more out of their lives. Yet effective altruism believers will denigrate these people for not being rich enough to give as much as Mr. Beast. Then again, it should come as no surprise that those who worship the rich would despise the poor.
Like most social workers worldwide, in general, we are pissed at systems that create poverty and injustice. Not many of us come from rich parents. There's are much bigger respect and generosity about the people you talk about.

Or maybe he understood it perfectly and gets a kick out of recreated it irl. Maybe he is just sadistic that way. Wasnt he making low-production "squid game" challenges before the show even existed?
Altruism doesn't exist, you're doing it because it feels good to do good things. Philanthropy usually involves some form of publicity because a key part of Philanthropy is advocacy as you're targeting the root causes of an issue in a long term way.
poverty porn goes disgustingly hard as it has for the longest time. It's interesting how Mr. Beast will get "cancelled" for defending his trans friend but get off free using the situations of others to profit

Call me silly, but the reason I don't watch Mr Beast videos is because I hate his thumbnails with his idiotic smile/facial expression. ( Over 1k thumbs up?! I expected about 10. 🥰)
He literally replaced his previous thumbnails with more oversaturation, and he even "ai upscaled" his own face Edit: His thumbnails on the Golden Pizza and Doomsday Bunker Vid got WORSE Edit 2: After doing some digging, the reason why his thumbnails are so exaggerated with bright colors with an ai generated smiling face of Jimmy is that they're focused on catching the attention of children. Since Jimmy knows that Gen Alpha's attention spans are short because of Tik Tok, Reels, and YT shorts, he also made his editing style LOUD and SHOWY to the point where it becomes exhausting. Compare that to Ryan Trahan's editing style or even anyone in RUclips back in the 2010s
Yep. Money is hard to come by. So anytime you have that much money, you've fvcked over quite a few people to get there, whether it's family, friends, consumers, or employees.

@zioptis40 At least you can admit you were wrong instead of doubling down. I haven't really watched any of his content, partially because I find his mug so punchable. I was wondering where it was when Ava got exposed for you know what and proof SHOWED that everyone else on the team knew, yet everyone was somehow ignoring the fact Jimmy knew to say "hey just fire Ava and it'll save your reputation"
I'm proudly one of those clinically online people who has never seen a single mr Beast video. About to watch an hour long video about somebody I know nothing about.
I watched about 15 minutes of one of them. You could tell it was WAAAAYYY amped up. It was interesting, but after about that 15 I was done. Just way to much and overboard for me.
Same. Always gave me an uneasy feeling and I tend to trust my instincts. Also I don't want to be a part of his charityporn exploitation. He's getting no ad revenue from me.
Its ridiculous how the defenders keep saying "but he cured people's blindness" ok?? That doesnt cancel out the fact hes been advertising literal gambling to children and has faked and scammed so many people
also he cured like a tiny amount of people in the greater scheme of things. What effect is "charity" had beside a few personal stories and him making a lot of money?
There's also another debate on the "success" of his tree-planting project, especially in the fact that he might've introduced non-native flora in the area. Not only does this not guarantee the viability of the trees in the long-term, but it could also jeapordise the local ecosystem. Anyone who knows a thing or two about invasive species knows how seriously fucked up an ecosystem can get if someone introduces a species carelessly.
Kind of a shallow take but Mr Beast’s fake smile in all his thumbnails always creeps me out. He looks like a 4th grader forcing a smile on picture day. Like an alien looked up “smile” in the dictionary and thought all they have to do is show all their teeth.
For granted I don't think him doing it for his image is a bad guy thing 100% it's marketing "manipulation" and if someone were good enough to pull it off effectively. I think they would depends on the view.
I was also a watcher of Mr. Beast but I thought he was just a run-of-the-mill exaggerative person doing stupid stuff like many other popular channels. A person to be wowed at but nothing further. I really should have thought better.
It sickens me how many youtubers work with him and defend him. D'angelo Wallace made an entire video defending Mr Beast against Jacksepticeye (who just said he didn't like him). That video didn't sit right with me at all.
I still don't understand why anyone would give Jack shit for what he said even in context that they think "Mr. Beast is a perfect guy who can't do wrong". Jack was put in a lie detector and was asked about his thoughts on Mr. Beast (yeah I know lie detectors are bullshit but he might not know or whatever). Either way he was 100% true about what he said but it was something pulled out of him in a way where you shouldn't get mad at him for it and Mr. Beast getting mad about it was super childish
@jaydenc367 I mean, the entertainment industry is evil from top to bottom and it's crazy there are people who still don't know that. You should assume every famous person is bad until you see evidence they're good.
Running Man, Squid game, Deadman Wonderland, Kaiji. These are meant to be commentaries on late stage capitalism. Mr beast thinks they should be reality.
Kaiji huh? How's the plot? I remember watched this japanese movie with this same plot years before Squid Game, can't remember the title, but really want to watch it again :") The one i saw was about a man joined but end up trapped in this "game" set by a company so he and everyone joining the game can pay their debt, but they can't escape or back off and they need to playing games and riddle and fight until literal death and the bosses just watch them arguing and betraying each other from the monitors, is this Kaiji have the same plot? :O
I said from day one I saw mr beast there is something seriously off about him and that he is definitely not using his own money. Everyone said I was insane and lying
The first Mr. Beast video I saw was pretty early on when he was doing a no-sleep marathon challenge. Next thing I see he's leaning hard into giveaways. I am old enough to have seen and dealt with plenty of influencer types, grifters, and pro con artists, so I just knew basically from the beginning that he was not going to let anything get in the way of ambition. With this type of person, they'll be sitting there staring at a whiteboard day in and out trying to strategize new revenue sources, marketing funnels, etc. If they aren't doing that they are getting into everyone's DMs all the time. There is nothing to it but sheer persistence and lack of restraint.
Whenever I saw a clip of him, it gave off a mix of "white savior" and "main character syndrome" vibes. I never watched full videos, since any clips I saw made him sound infuriating to listen to.
So you're telling me someone who claims that they are using their OWN money for videos, AND claims they are not rigged, turns out they are the opposite? I am shocked, SHOCKED! The dude shilled NFT's I mean come on, thankfully never watched a MrBeast video, and I don't ever want to, keep exposing the fakes!
@@eeg-rh7jv his content just feels icky to me. As someone on the far left the way he uses his money, or as ive recently discovered, people's taxes, as leverage over others is vile.
I've never trusted Mr. Beast to be a genuine altruist, just a channel that had a profitable business model. When my 9yo daughter mentioned him in conversation (I forget what the context was), I had to start explaining to her that his videos might not be genuine. I explained scripting, editing, casting, props, effects, so many ways that what you see can be manipulated. And sometimes it's fine if the point is clearly just entertainment and everyone is on board with that. But it becomes a problem when that isn't clear. I didn't forbid her from watching Mr. Beast. I just talk with her often about videos, film, books, etc and emphasize thinking critically about the work. And she comes to me sometimes with her own questions, so I think progress is happening there. My 7yo mostly watches indie horror game let's plays and thinks Mr. Beast is stupid because (paraphrasing) he has a boring squirrel face and doesn't even care about anything. She spotted his fake ass instantly.
That is a lot to unpack 😅 But for sure, a good 90% of online content has been tampered, and it’s good to take “authentic content” with a piece of salt I had neglected that with Mr. Beast, because when I put myself in his shoes, there was no incentive for me to not be charitable, be nice and to share kindness, I thought it’d be nature’s calling to be giving- but I guess not
I thought people wisened up at the Mr Beast Burger controversy. Seriously, his lack of care of licensing out to people or ensuring quality should have made it obvious that he has no idea how properly working in business works. Glad you're sticking to your guns even after all the hate.
I entirely agree. True charity comes from those who help others, and you often have no idea who they are or what they do. They do so because they actually care and want to help, and are not doing it for their own image and ego. Celebrity "charity" is nothing more than PR. People need to wake up to it. Never support them, never donate to them. If you want to support charity then find your local food bank, or some other local independent charity that is close to your heart. Give your money to them instead.
It's the classic nice v kind idea. Lots of people seem nice from the outside and can fake a smile and an easygoing attitude but very few people are actually genuinely kind people deep down. It's easy to seem like a decent charitable person while behind the scenes being a ruthless business tycoon.
@@AmyDaisy69 "If you want to support charity then find your local food bank, or some other local independent charity that is close to your heart. Give your money to them instead." I mean this is just my personal view, but if what you are donating is money then I firmly believe that the most beneficial entity to give it to is actually just someone you come across who needs it. If you pass by someone asking for help give them whatever you can, if you happen to encounter someone that seems to be having trouble paying near you offer to pay what you can, etc... If you are going to give money to an actual charitable donation like you suggested, then at least make sure they are at least giving [x] to people in need for free. Also, while it should be obvious to anyone who thinks about it for a more than a few seconds. How wealthy someone is inversely related to where the ceiling is for how "charitable" that person can possibly be. It isn't to say that everyone who is poor is super charitable. But the richer someone is the less charitable they could even theoretically be. If that wasn't the case, then they would not be rich... or at the very least their wealth would not continually grow.
Dude made a video titled "Building wells in Africa". Africa... the country whose capital is Kenya???? Never trust a guy who plays saviour but can't name a country for a video and perpetuates the generalization of a continent amongst his massive audience.
@@Jdudec367 There is no "Africa in general" in a continent that has 54 countries. What's general about 54 distinct nations that speak different languages, have different governments and history? You wouldn't be debating this if we switched up Africa with Europe. He generalized the continent by failing to be precise and pushing the "Africa, (a 30,370,000 km large continent) is a desertic place with no distinction from one place to the other" narrative to millions of followers, which is why people like you can confidently talk about "general Africa" while asking how he generalized it and not see the irony in that.
@@Adhereshaze I take issue with the fact that Jimmy is also continuing to profit off of that video (even if it's demonetized-I don't know if it is-he undoubtedly still benefits from the viewership) and that not a cent more will go to ensuring the continued wellbeing of the communities he helped. I mean how likely is it that he's returned to check up on them? I think it is commendable that he took initiative (something he points out when he utters the line (paraphrasing), "I'm just a RUclipsr but someone has to help"), but there are so many nuances to the whole thing that cheapen it. I've seen many argue that he's already done more than the next guy, that he did not cause the injustices that led to the communities' plight in the first place and therefore is not responsible for fixing them, but when you go putting yourself on a pedestal by reminding everyone that YOU were the one to step up and do something, it becomes insincere and clearer that your poverty porn was a means to an end. I'd love to be proven wrong; wouldn't it be great seeing a follow-up where he revisits some of those communities, reveals he's maintained lasting relationships with some individuals, and reassesses ways he can help this time around? I understand that he is not at all obligated to, but in many of these scenarios, establishing a long-lasting partnership can be far more meaningful than a one-time act, and Jimmy has shown by doing the latter that he is content with doing just enough simply to be seen as generous and kind.
How many wells did he made again? :"D Y'know, the first time I heard that, I thought he was gonna make so many wells throughout the continent (hence the "Africa") and this going to be a long term project and so excited about that but realized he never really have a long term committed project :"D I mean I happy for the people he helped, but let say, he make wells only in Ghana for example, then just said "Ghana" It feels like he do that on purpose, coz "Africa, lack of water, and Mr.Beast help them by making wells, oh, how generous~" and then it's just 1 small village in a country, idk, it feels deceptive and not genuine :"D

God I hate the gaslighting I've experienced over the years on everything mr beast related. I think it has to do with people still stuck in a capitalist mindset, desperately searching for a "good capitalist" who helps the poor and is everything they envision. "The world is not stuck in a broken system, we just have the wrong people at the top!" Mr beast marketed himself perfectly for that role. Glad to see that atleast some are waking up to him.
i relate to you SO HARD except in my case about taylor swift like i've NEVER liked her or the swifties who will defend her no matter what and now she's a billionaire AND THEY'RE STILL DEFENDING HER LIKE HUUHHHH?? and they'll try to make her seem really generous and charitable but in both hers and mr beast's case their fans can't differentiate between charity and *philanthropy* aka actually systematically trying to redistribute wealth and not just giving away 0.00005% of their scrooge mcduck vault once in a while as they simultaneously contribute 3000% of the average person's air-travel carbon emissions
I mean I think it’s pretty obvious he cares mostly about his ego, reputation, image etc. If charity helps it then he’ll do it, if people stopped caring about it he would stop too and do something else
His "I CURED BLINDNESS" video already said enough by the title and thumbnail. There's no need for me to see him recreating the awful dystopian scene from Squid Game. Making a whole video to promote yourself as a selfless helper of the disabled and putting your own obnoxiously soulless wide smile as a thumbnail is disgusting enough There's a saying in my language; "Right hand be giving, Left hand unknowing" How sincere is he when he shoves those cameras in their faces?

Fun fact Jimmy said in interviews that he likes to mute his personality in videos, as they do better than the videos where he is himself-so mr beast is all fake confirmed.
I agree, I might have watch 10 minutes of his content in total, only because RUclips pushed him hard, blocked his channel a year ago because as you said he came of as very fake to me and I was tired of RUclips constantly putting him in my recommended videos.
One of the first times I really doubted Mr. Beast’s sincerity is when a girl from my town was like the “20 millionth subscriber” or something (i dont remember the number) and was in a video with him. This girl just happened to be the only “influencer” from my town with a small but substantial following already and also just happened to already be wealthy. Oh and this girl was already an avid follower of him wayyy before that. What are the chances that a completely random selection of people just happens to pick a rich influencer that just so happened to subscribe to him at just the right millisecond years after actually following him? Not to even question how a channel knows who and when someone subscribes as the subscriber counts are not linearly calculated- every few seconds each youtube server syncs up an aggregated list of new subscribers so it’s almost impossible to know who was the Xth subscriber. Not that I had any reason to trust him, I never actually cared about his videos and assumed most of it is fake
He could have retired quietly but he had to do trauma porn and charity porn which is why you should never trust any youtuber as though they are your best friend
The problem with Mr Beast is the 'Mr Beast Defence Squad' - think of Moist Critikal, The Act Man, Asmongold and plenty of other gaming and commentary RUclipsrs who would basically defend Beastie Boy from any and all criticisms and deployed whenever he had controversy - I mean except when Ben Shapiro and others were attacking Mr Beast and then suddenly they all went 😶🌫️
My main point of this video is for you the viewer to remember to be distrustful of wealthy people who both flaunt their wealth and show themselves doing 'good' deeds. Because if they are a social media personality it's likely all designed to create a brand. It's also a reminder for you to not get your opinions from your fav millionaire content creator who is friend with other millionaire content creators...
Calling yourself Muad'Dib?
Not the best idea.

Yeah, that was me with Mr Beast. I had a stint when I was maybe 12, so about 5 years ago, that I watched his content for a little while, then it stopped being appealing. In the past few years it’s gotten so much more insane, that I just thought it had to be faked and started ignoring it. Everything just seemed artificial.

the biggest upset in all of this isn’t any of the actual allegations, which should have been obvious, but that young Mr. Beast fans aren’t desperately consuming his content because they like the brain rot, but because he is essentially running a lottery racket for children. it feels like every critic has been asking why kids are so into his videos and concluding that they are just dumb iPad kids, when the really sad answer is that they arent addicted to him because they love the gameshows and fast editing, they watch because he has deliberately convinced them that if they just pay attention and do the call to actions, at any second he might send them cash and a gaming console they would never get any other way. like gambling addicts watching the jackpot numbers get called every week. that parts just crazy to me.

I can definitely say I don't like what I've heard recently, so I'm going to make a point to talk to my ex-wife and the kids to see if they know who this Mr beast is.

LMAO SAME
Its ridiculous how the defenders keep saying "but he cured people's blindness" ok?? That doesnt cancel out the fact hes been advertising literal gambling to children and has faked and scammed so many people
If he was serious about his charity we probably wouldn’t hear about it. It ain’t charity if you use poor people for your career.
Most charity volunteers are themselves poor and working class, and certainly are not doing it for media clout.
also he cured like a tiny amount of people in the greater scheme of things. What effect is "charity" had beside a few personal stories and him making a lot of money?
He only cured 40 blind people that can be confirmed
@@Pennyfold123 Famously charities never advertise. 😂
When you know that you will make 10 million by giving away 1 million, it's not charity, it's an investment
This falls like a glove on the narrative that his good deeds are made only for his brand

Imagine doing something on social media for image. Totally craaaazy.
Oh wait that's just social media
It sickens me how many youtubers work with him and defend him. D'angelo Wallace made an entire video defending Mr Beast against Jacksepticeye (who just said he didn't like him). That video didn't sit right with me at all.
he was always a miss guy that lacks criticism, he needs to learn to stay neutral and not take sides and learn to criticize

I said from day one I saw mr beast there is something seriously off about him and that he is definitely not using his own money. Everyone said I was insane and lying
I swear I’ve always thought the same thing.
He was a plant from day 1. Also notice how he smiles but his eyes never do. It's a matter of time for him. Hopefully soon.
It's the eyes.
Whenever I saw a clip of him, it gave off a mix of "white savior" and "main character syndrome" vibes.
I never watched full videos, since any clips I saw made him sound infuriating to listen to.

Your 7yo is very, very intelligent.
That is a lot to unpack 😅
But for sure, a good 90% of online content has been tampered, and it’s good to take “authentic content” with a piece of salt
I had neglected that with Mr. Beast, because when I put myself in his shoes, there was no incentive for me to not be charitable, be nice and to share kindness, I thought it’d be nature’s calling to be giving- but I guess not
That’s smart
Your seven year old daughter was really smart
People praising the seven year old rather than you for actually speaking to her. Being a good parent I bet is rough...
Once he said that he genuinely wanted to be president we should have known he was a sociopath
I thought people wisened up at the Mr Beast Burger controversy. Seriously, his lack of care of licensing out to people or ensuring quality should have made it obvious that he has no idea how properly working in business works. Glad you're sticking to your guns even after all the hate.
You do realize that Mr Beast is a classic example of corporate evil right?
"Charity" being such an overpowered shield has to go. Especially since it's not charity, it's clearly exploitation.
I agree. With these allegations, how are we so sure that what he did as ‘charity’ was even genuine in the first place.
@@AmyDaisy69
"If you want to support charity then find your local food bank, or some other local independent charity that is close to your heart. Give your money to them instead."
I mean this is just my personal view, but if what you are donating is money then I firmly believe that the most beneficial entity to give it to is actually just someone you come across who needs it.
Corporate & business wise, charity is basically a CSR hence it's an easy way to write off taxes

Dude made a video titled "Building wells in Africa". Africa... the country whose capital is Kenya????
Never trust a guy who plays saviour but can't name a country for a video and perpetuates the generalization of a continent amongst his massive audience.
He meant Africa in general, and how did he perpetuate the generalizatio of said continent?
Y'know, the first time I heard that, I thought he was gonna make so many wells throughout the continent (hence the "Africa") and this going to be a long term project and so excited about that

That man LITERALLY watched Squid Games and thought “what if in real life though?”

There was no way Mr Beast was able to throw away so much money without some shady things to going on behind the scenes.
Right? His whole "overnight" fame is utterly baffling to me. It doesn't make sense when you take even a second to think about it.
Mr. Beast has done a whole lot to make people believe the "Good Billionaire" myth. That alone is a condemnable act, on top of everything else
The myth is deeply ingrained in western culture, especially that of America, removing it will be a long process.
He could have retired quietly but he had to do trauma porn and charity porn which is why you should never trust any youtuber as though they are your best friend
