The most outrageous scheme by Mr. Beast:
    1. When the impoverished guy 'won' one million dollars.
    2. However, he needed to spend it in 24 hours.
    3. This did not improve his situation
    4. And fed into the perils of capitalism.
    5. Just made the message worse.

You can pretty much pause anytime Mr Beast gives a smile and cover his mouth to only look at the eye region and you‘ll see no laugh lines (haven‘t watched any of his content just seen him here and there and it‘s veeeery obvious)
You often see this behaviour when people fake smile for a (family) photograph or with politicians. I think it‘s pretty common knowledge amongst body language experts.

It always felt like people ran to the "but he gives away money" as defence whenever any mild criticism of him/his channel/his content, and were mostly willing to completely ignore the criticisms. I saw his content as super exploitative, though i always struggled to explain why. your vids have helped me lots with putting those feelings into words, and its nice to see you never abandoned that perspective, and kept a backbone about that point of view.
I'm also reminded of when I think it was two years ago (I can't remember exactly), when there was a behind the scenes video of jimmy's chocolate factory video, what went into it and how jimmy worked so hard and intensively over a short amount of time for that video (iirc working while sick, among other things). And although i remember how people were blown away by how hard-working jimmy seemed, it never went as far as to wondering if his employees were under those same conditions. (I hope I'm remembering this correctly, it was pretty succinct in time and happened a while back, so it's a bit fuzzy in memory)

I agreed with some of what you said, but I think Kavernacle meant that it's hard for bosses to care about their employees, relate to them, or know what they go through when they haven't experienced the same.
There is a huge belief, such as from conservatives and capitalists, that is very bias for the boss or owner and gives them too much power.
Such as not having to listen to their employees enough, not having to pay minimum wage, not letting employees unionize, and firing them easily if they do. Etc. it's terrible.
So even if they think they're a nice person they can think they have a right to be too overpowered and treat their employees badly cause it's their company.
I'm sure Mr Beast thinks he's a good person, but is delusional.

I think one of the things that most stuck out to me with regards to a Mr Beast thing in journalism, was an interview he did where he talked about how all he could think about when he was spending time with his girlfriend was how much money he wasn't making by spending time with his girlfriend.
It actually made me feel a little bit sad for him, because here's this human being whose brain has been broken by gaining so much fame and money, so quickly, that he's unable to have normal human interactions with people beyond calculating how much money it's costing him. Like, yes, the guy is a narcissistic psychopath, but only because youtube and his viewers _made_ him that way.

As someone who was super into gaming youtube back in the day, it's interesting to even compare people like, back then who were the core three, Jacksepticeye, Markiplier and Pewdiepie. While Pewdiepie did have other things going on early in his career, normal jobs, he was taking youtube seriously longer than Sean or Mark. Felix was even large enough to give Sean a shout out that really boosted his career years ago.
And while I still do watch Felix and enjoy his content, he is obviously far more problematic than Jacksepticeye and Markiplier who even now still do a lot of things outside of youtube.
Felix is wealthy enough now that combined with Marzia's clothing and jewellery businesses as well, he doesn't need to upload multiple times a week or a huge video essay every month to get by. But he really doesn't have much going on outside of youtube as far as I'm aware. But even outside of youtubery things like the multiple podcasts between Mark and Sean, they have other stuff they clearly care about.
Sean clearly cares a lot about his coffee company, does really cool stuff with it and had his comics and stuff, he's discussed wanting to write a fantasy book or series. While Mark doesn't promote Cloak that much, he is making a movie. He's been trying to learn bigger and better things about film making and production since the days of a date with markiplier. I just find that interesting.

As a matter of necessity, she likely had to be an extremely formidable person, who probably sees humans as objects - soldiers, guards, prisoners. When you stack her influence on top of his early life experience, it's not at all surprising that we find a sociopathic, power crazed man who lacks empathy for the humanity of others. End rant.
