Designated Survivor (2016-2019) The Fugitive bit strange due to only lasting 7 to 9 min per ep. but worth watching if you havn't seen it. 😉

Just finished the first two episodes and WOW what a great show
The 'all-seeing machine' was an interesting/frightening premise in *Person of Interest* (2011) - it is also mysterious (for me) that only one guy knows that it can never fall into the wrong hands, even the government! So, in this series, looks like our Hero is the one with the power to destroy, hence the pursuit - Kiefer Sutherland has his fans!😊

"Rabbit Hole" is quite similar to "Mr. Robot" in theme and style, but it lacks a certain distinctive element to stand out.
Food for thought - Isn’t another form of JOHN = JACK? Wouldn’t that be the ultimate twist/revelation?
Well it's not one of my Favourite TV series ever 24 or one of my favourite Hero's Jack Bauer but Rabbit Hole and Jon Weir will do! Just hope 8 Episode's will do!

I didn't find it very realistic and very slow although it does depict how people deal with there past in an interesting way. The cab driver scene, who would stay in the cab. The second he went the wrong direction or deviated from the direction I instructed? Pull over. I pay him and flag another. Brain cells are not a requirement in the cab business. Nor is vetting these crazies.
Would love a remake of 24 with a new stars.

im sure they will and jack Bauer will be some blue/pink haired trans colored person that doesn't like to be called agent because somehow its racist so "he" will wanna be called it/they/alien/confused/triggered! and this time the show will be revolving around the oppression of those in America and the victims it continues to harm!!! and the threat towards the new genderless president being held hostage by an alpha sport loving, beer guzzling, hunter/gatherer, war torn vet that identifies as A BIOLOGICALL MAN!!!!! to bring back normalcy and democracy to the republic, where inflation is no more, gas prices fall, and actual unemployment is being wiped out, and the weaponization of govt. no longer can be used against its citizenry and people stop using the word racist for everything. and instead of the yellowish ticking clock we will get some rainbow colored clock LMAO!!!!!!!! Word to executives @ Paramount … STOP trolling the school yards for kiddie writers / creators who are all having these wet dreams about remaking films that are already classics. Inception, Marathon Man, Manchurian candidate, Sneakers- it’s all been done. It’s as if these writer / creators took all the classics & put them into a blender & yelled GO! It’s so boring to watch this type & style of cliche acting with predictable plots that have been executed 100 times already. … .worse still - they all got PAID $$$$$
Just finished the 4th episode. I like aspects of this show, but it just doesn't scratch that itch like 24 did. Weir for all his experience is pretty dumb, and to be honest I could do without the Hailey character altogether. Oh and how this show pulls a Homeland and writes in Alex Jones type character. To bad this show tells some truths and mocks them at the same time when that guy comes on. I'll probably finish this show cause what the hell.
It is indeed a great show, I hope it doesn't get canceled 'cause the theme is very grounded.

The gaps in the writing, and the way it got so hard to believe in spots really wrecked the show.

I just think they rushed it, premise like this could easily have 24 episodes.
1st episode GREAT! Loved the tone and mystery. 2nd episode ... Complete FAIL. The dialogue, acting and tone were terrible. The humor was a miss. Hopefully episode 3 gets back on track.
Too bad it's only 8 episodes.
Episode one was pretty good and it drew me in.
I almost didn't even start the show because I figured Paramount was going to make it "woke", but they did do 1883, 1923, and Tulsa so I thought I would give it a chance. And just when I thought they were not going to go down that rabbit hole open (pun intended) the script takes on a silly dialectic after he saves her life but she says it's all about racism. Talk about throwing something out of the blue for the sake of "the message".
I turned it off at that point. I know I'm not alone, but people are getting tired of this nonsense.

I actually don't recall that. Very little of what she says its all about can be trusted because her hiding the phone thing in episode 3 shows she's keeping some secrets from Weir and anything that she says that sounds woke is probably just to make him write her off as an idiot. They do a lot of that sort of misdirection in this show. This show is literally all about misdirection and how we get manipulated by being fed clues to make us think one thing is going on when it ends up being something else.
Continue watching it. It wasn’t blue or “the message” I can ASSURE YOU that the “racism”, was a joke. It’s a satirical play on how current society works and how it IS always blamed on racism even when it isn’t. It’s a joke and if you watch the rest of the scene, it’s flushed out as a good moment teaching her it isn’t racism, it’s just him saving her life. I hope you give it another go.

Is this a joke? The 1st 5 minutes were almost unwatchable. Characters were over the top cliché . Bummer, I love Kiefer but this was bad.

Not really into the Con Man as Hero paradigm. So the protagonist is an amoral bad guy, how does that make anyone feel good?

As long it is a well written with a great character arch - it shouldn’t make any difference whether the the role is gay, black, or white. I look for tone, pacing and well written dialogue, the rest of just gravy……..

Normal people are sick and tired of The Message being shoved down our throats.
Unfortunately 50-70% of most scenes are literally black! Totally unwatchable and unenjoyable .
it is sad a lot of directors are going for the dark room effect I think to save money on settings. But I've managed to ignore it
and if you give up on shows like that there'll be not much to watch since a lot of the newer shows are like that now.
