lucky to have nadia???? i think your missing the point we are all responsible for our own journeys if someone is depressed they need to do something about it instead of making the other person responsible for their illness

Was is Seroxat Mark. I also suffer from both depression and anxiety and take daily meds which I’ve done for many years. I would love to kick as I feel they make you gain weight which lowers you self esteem, but I’m afraid the side effects are worse I admire you both and am a huge fan of you both talking about it. Thanks for this. Gillian

You just never know what's going on in someone's head, mind .. Nadia is a great listener! .. I'm having CBT I have horrendous anxiety and panic attacks .. all connected they say to my childhood! . Talking therapy is the best.I do suffer pretty bad .. you tube is sort of my saviour! .. I was having a panic attack the other night so came hear listened to some of your vlogs and felt it ease! .. your channel helps me so much especially in the night when I'm at my worse .. I sort of don't feel so lonely! .. lovely to see you open up .. lots of men don't. You have both just had me in tears at the end .. Nadia is your rock x

Wow , what a truly open ,honest vlog.
Mark, my heart aches for you, you can see the pain in your eyes.
It’s so true what we experience in childhood follows us our whole life.
I was brought up in a household with a very domineering mother who use to belittle my father in front of all of us all.She was a control freak and never gave any of us praise or encouragement.
No affection , you lived on your nerves never knowing when her temper would erupt.
I’m the youngest of 3 and I thought when I was younger I had escaped unharmed emotionally from it all but now at 41 I can see just how scarred me and my older sister and brother are.
The love you have between you both is amazing and I don’t have to tell you how truly lucky you are to have Nadia.
Never feel any guilt for the way you are, you are the product of your childhood environment.
Have you ever thought of writing a book about your life I think it would be fascinating and help a lot of people.
Well done on all you have achieved and your beautiful girls they are a credit to you both.
I’m so glad I’ve stumbled upon your Chanel , it’s wonderful to dip in and out of .

It's great to have support like you do with such a dehabilitating condition. I have had it for 14 years. I can relate to how you feel about the medication. It takes time to find a medication that is best suited to you. Its important to be aware that in severe cases people can result in suicide unfortunately. Professional help is needed alongside medication. Once you find the balance you can learn to manage it so it doesn't take over your life. For me it will never go away. Life will be cloudy and then there will be sunshine again. :-)

Hi Nadia and Mark. I feel so much empathy with these issues, thankyou so much for sharing with us. You mentioned the numbness that can come with anti-dep ressants. I have experienced this too and it's horrible. I have been through times where I also would rather have had the pain than feel nothing atall. I think it's definitely true Mark that your body and mind can get hooked on stress hormones. If you spend your whole childhood hypervigilant it's what's familiar and anything else can be hard to navigate. You are amazing parents; your girls are so lucky to have you. The fact you actually listen and treat them like equal human beings. If I had even a small amount of that as my childhood experience, I wouldn't struggle so much now I'm sure. On your podcast, can you do an episode specifically on trying to parent when you weren't parented and also have fairly severe mental health issues. I try my absolute best with my daughter she is everything to me, but I am forever scared of her inheriting my crap. I have really bad days and she witnesses that. Sorry this is a bit of a ramble!! I was trying to put everything I had to say to you in one message!! Sophie

I think I am very happy that it’s been talked about as it’s across all cultures religion people society etc and it should be taught at school level at 5 so it’s normal to come talk to people

I was officially diagnosed in 2006. Was put on Citalapram and then Sertraline. I’ve struggled every day since. I can have good days and really bad days. You look back as an adult and realise triggers and moments. I believe I have OCD. I also have issues with addiction. Hugs to you Mark and you are lucky you have Nadia who is a good listener.

i get sheer annoyance from mark who feels that way about nadia
she doesn't let him get a word in edgeways. she looks really domineering and judgemental
mark looks like a shady shit who skirts around issues without actually dealing with them
