The EV technology will become meaningfull after they harvest the big money from the people who are eager for big screens and ambient ligth on the grill. They are too dam slow, doesn’t have the storage, and the software is nowhere near as good as Tesla who updates it constantly and adds new features for FREE! Just looking at the Tesla site today and they have a new Models S Plaid for 99k in inventory that has more storage space, is lightening fast and has better software and the best charging network period with 396 mile of EPA estimated range. They even have a lease return with 7K miles and full FSD for 91K. Why would you overpay for less value. Please don’t say the name or quality because that’s a load of BS. I have a 2022 Model Y Performance with a 3.5 second 0 to 60 which is faster than this 5 series and an SUV and I have had zero maintenance or issues since I bought it. In fact, it’s not due for service until December 2023. Now that shows quality. The best service is no service required.

Mercedes and Bmw are making cars for a long time and now it is obvious that all they care is profit and not a true innovation. @@okkimakki Most EV cars range from 8 to 10 years, or about 160,000 km.
If age is usually the unit of measure of life of a device, this is not the case with a lithium-ion battery. You can rely on mileage, but that is not enough to know the battery life of electric vehicles. Circumstances on the road and driving style also affect mileage.
Thus, it is best to measure the life of an electric car battery by its charge cycle. On average the lifespan is between 1,000 and 2,000 charging cycles.

It does. Countless auto reviewers have commented on it. The i4 edrive40 is the best handling EV this side of a Porsche Taycan. The Model 3 is set up as a "best fit" for all conditions. The i4 M Sport has adjustable dampers with Comfort and Sport settings. So better on pot-holes and speed bumps when in Comfort, and better through corners when in Sport.
