Personally i don't think you can get hyper than "Deicide". though something dumb like "Omnicide" might surpass. Especially if you throw the word "absolute" in front.
Woolie: "Hey guys, we got 3 amazing series going at the same time and can only upload one video a day. What should we do?" Matt:"Bring in the one offs?" Pat:"Bring in the one offs" All 3:"Yeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeye"
I had a really bad night,. but hearing woolie being so excited about mechas it gives me...strength. There's something really nice and calming about listening to people geek out about stuff. This looks like it might be a fun game to play.
darra luola It's pretty good, for a mobile port to the switch. Combat's not quite as deep as you'd want later on, but it's definitely better than anything other action game on a phone.
sounds like the development company really lucked out when nintendo picked them up then! pretty awesome how we're at this point of mobile gaming it even is possible.
TreesDontSqueak To those interested, this was made by Rayark. They've done two rhythm games (One of which was rereleased on the PS Liam) and one collect-cute-mandragoras game. Even if you don't like rhythm games, I'd at least check out Cytus if you want to see some crazy stuff.
I love how they played through the entire nightmare level without realizing that he was having a silent hill style mental breakdown because of the connection to his suit. :l
Kilberto Beardface No offense, but I think that's a really bad way to look at things, "it's fine because it's mobile", if the game sucks then it sucks, if it's good it's good. It shouldn't need a qualifier to determine it's quality as a game.
"When you get older your gonna start asking questions and I wanted to be the one who tells you this" - "When a mommy and a daddy love each other, very very much..."
If there were more iOS games that played liked this, I would be hopeful towards the future of mobile gaming rather than cynical about it. Unfortunately, the bulk of mobile games apps either fall into the category of gacha inspired games riddled with microtransactions or cheap franchise tie-ins that capitalize on diehard fans with low standards.
The cut-scenes and voice over quality makes more sense when you consider that it was originally a mobile game. I played this a while back on my iPhone.. Wish they would've added more content for this version though. More mechs or extra abilities could've made it worth a revisit
I have such a huge library as it is though. I've been trying to clear a lot of them on my streams though. It's on my list still. We'll see if it's in the cards for me.
Others have said it in the comments, but yea; the studio is Rayark Inc. They have made five games that I know of, counting this. This and one of their three rhythm games, known as VOEZ, are on the switch; then you have Cytus, Deemo which was released on the PS Vita, and Mandora. All these games were originally IOS and Android games; each game, minus mandora, go for this really artistic style.
i played this game on mobile a year or two ago. this is really a good game but its odd that it came from a company that released only rhythm games. glad to see the release on switch get positive purchases and cant wait to play it again when i own a switch
Can't wait for the sequel,
EXPLOSION: Take Back Despair
NEVER LOSE HOPE is the hypest subtitle
Nuclear Cherries
It's hard to top
It's shonen as *fuck* and that's all a subtitle needs
Personally i don't think you can get hyper than "Deicide". though something dumb like "Omnicide" might surpass. Especially if you throw the word "absolute" in front.
I still stand by "God Bless the Ring"
Nuclear Cherries I'm partial to DJMax: Respect
Nuclear Cherries DIVINE SOLILOQUY OF MAN AND BEAST
Woolie: "Hey guys, we got 3 amazing series going at the same time and can only upload one video a day. What should we do?"
Matt:"Bring in the one offs?"
Pat:"Bring in the one offs"
All 3:"Yeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeye"
Chase B Vry smrt.
Chase B they can't record more of the lps and edit them to sustain them.
Also, one offs are cool
I like how you ironically included the walking dead.
I mean Matt did say in his post about his break that they'd be releasing one offs to ease the pressure off of them.
To be fair, I don't recall them having any interesting series on currently.
*NEVER NOT LOSE HOPE*
*ALWAYS BACK THE FUCK DOWN*
DarkKnightGrave *NEVER GAIN IT IN THE FIRST PLACE*
Unless woolie get tha perry.
*NEVER EVER STEP UP!*
ALWAYS LOSE HOPE
YOU CAN NOT SUCCEED
Oh, this game. This has been a mobile game for like two years.
And now it's on a system with actual buttons.
Is that the cover for Dreamstate? Boi
Alex Djent You know it.
A friendly reminder to Never Lose Hope as we enter the Depression Arc
Depression Arc?
always in dat depression arc ; ;
TreesDontSqueak dont let it sink in
Always..
TreesDontSqueak I thought that was the whole point of this channel
HEY! I played this game on my phone last year.
You know, when it said the Best Friends were playing an Implosion, my first thought was "Wait, DETROIT came out early?!"
Savage!
Guys
This was a mobile game
The1AndOnlyMarioMan I was gonna say this looks awfully like a mobile game.
Reminds me of the third person Halo mobile games.
Gen M fuck, I hated those.
Honestly when Woolie said "I put down me phone" I thought they knew
I knew it! I knew the name was familiar then the first cutscene played and it all came back.
Used to have this on my phone, it was actually pretty good.
This game is like a few years old. It was on android market for the longest time. It's amazing
I never thought one day they'll play another mobile game
Its on the switch though.
Rockymann27 still technically mobile
all switch games are mobile games.
What was the first one?
I had a really bad night,. but hearing woolie being so excited about mechas it gives me...strength.
There's something really nice and calming about listening to people geek out about stuff.
This looks like it might be a fun game to play.
darra luola It's pretty good, for a mobile port to the switch. Combat's not quite as deep as you'd want later on, but it's definitely better than anything other action game on a phone.
sounds like the development company really lucked out when nintendo picked them up then! pretty awesome how we're at this point of mobile gaming it even is possible.
"Who game this is tho?"
Well since no one else is claiming it
It was me. This is my video jame.
All on mobile, by the way.
What a mysterious jogo
It's a game company in Taiwan.
TreesDontSqueak this Is a mobile game that came out in 2015 on iOS and Android and the company is now porting it to consoles.
5 mins in and I lost count on how many times i rewinded to laugh even harder at this quality commentary. Thank you for years of content!
You know what i'll never lose hope for? The fact that Kiryu can still be in Tekken 7.
Angelwithdirtysword I totally forgot about that.
I will never forget...
Such dedication...
*THATS THE FUCKING SPIRIT*
3 MORE GUEST CHARACTERS
N E V E R L O S E H O P E
I love how they played through the entire nightmare level without realizing that he was having a silent hill style mental breakdown because of the connection to his suit. :l
FULL LP
I DON'T EVEN CARE IF THIS IS ACTUALLY BAD
JUST GIVE ME *MORE OF THIS GAME*
I couldn't disagree more.
Yeah I remember playing this years ago on my phone, for a phone game this game is fucking sick, and possibly one of the best mobile games.
Kilberto Beardface No offense, but I think that's a really bad way to look at things, "it's fine because it's mobile", if the game sucks then it sucks, if it's good it's good. It shouldn't need a qualifier to determine it's quality as a game.
Megablaze, I agree with you 110%
This game is on android and it was developed for the nvidia shield portable mainly
"When you get older your gonna start asking questions and I wanted to be the one who tells you this" - "When a mommy and a daddy love each other, very very much..."
Best Friends Forever Who Game Me: fuck off. I've got porn to teach me.
MasterKcoop Actually pornhub did open a site that offers sex ed for real, even tumblr of all sites aplauded them.
Are mechas a crime? I'm noticing an awful lot of them in my Crime Age of late.
Not complaining though.
Mecha-on-Mecha crime is a big problem in the inner city.
Not until they start dropping colonies on the planet
Explosion: Always Back Down!
Explosion: Always gain hopelessness
This game has been on the google play store for 3 or 4 years now. I played it 3 years ago and its fucking good!
This was a cell phone game first, glad to see it move to consoles
Isn't this a mobile game?
I thought they said never play mobile!
But every Switch Game is a Mobile Game :D
I like when the guys play with their toys.
Can we get a full let's play of this though? I like how much fun they're having with this game.
I strongly agree with that description.
Getting hype for a phone game port
Maddrox Gokudera for THIS phone game port, though? Completely understandable.
never lose hope that this will become a full play-through
This isnt a new switch game its a mobile port
The Ouya Plus
Not only that, it's a mobile port of a game that's been out for years. I've been playing it on my phone for like 2 years :l
It's a new switch game that's a mobile port.
I think they should consider checking this out for a full play through: it's got great art, hype gameplay and a fun story
I think this is an iOS game from a couple years ago right?
Matthew Peters an IOS and android game yes.
Never Lose Hope...Full LP..Believe
OF ALL THE INTROS YOU'VE DONE THIS IS THE BEST ONE
Loved this on my phone. Might have to redownload it to my new phone to play it again.
This game is amazing. Best mobile game ever
HOLY FUCK IMPLOSION IS ON SWITCH NOW HOLY SHIT GIVE ME MY MOBILE DMC IN 1080P NOW
Just got an hour long ad that was just an entire episode of some show.
honestly from where the super moves are on the screen and how the cutscenes look makes me feel like this was originally a phone game
I'm glad they found this gem
If there were more iOS games that played liked this, I would be hopeful towards the future of mobile gaming rather than cynical about it. Unfortunately, the bulk of mobile games apps either fall into the category of gacha inspired games riddled with microtransactions or cheap franchise tie-ins that capitalize on diehard fans with low standards.
Always happy to hear that theme song
Never Be Game Over
MS: Achievements
Sony: Trophies
Nintendo: Badges
make it happen nintendo.
Is it just me, or did their space ship at 2:42 remind anyone else of Samus' ship from Super Metroid?
Hang on, I remember this game, this wasn't a Switch game, this was on Android before, I guess they ported it to Switch though, neat.
please to be having another episode of this, after you've leveled up a bunch and have all the cool powers.
i was looking at this in the japanese eshop a few months ago, i might need to give it a shot
*REBELLIONS ARE BUILT ON HOPE!*
Matt: Sygnum Blade!?
Me: Yeyeyeye!
you know it's a rough time when we get this much kirby music
I played through this entire game on my IPHONE 6 using a moga rebel gamepad. Absolutely excellent experience.
I would've played this a long time ago if it had a gameplay video on the eshop. Now I know that this is actually pretty cool.
I've never seen a game with this many technical terms all being thrown at the player so fast.
sometimes you have to lose hope in order to never have lost it in the first place.
Further proof that Woolie turns into a bird monster when excited
Hearing Woolie ~squee~ over mecha makes me wish that they do a mecha series soon.
*I'll Never Lose Hope In This Becoming A Full LP*
A man with a sword is an ineffective and outdated concept in modern warfare.
A robot with a sword is a serious threat that dominates the battlefield.
The cut-scenes and voice over quality makes more sense when you consider that it was originally a mobile game. I played this a while back on my iPhone.. Wish they would've added more content for this version though. More mechs or extra abilities could've made it worth a revisit
I was sitting here going "WHAT IS THIS?! WHERE HAVE I SEEN THIS?!" and as soon as gameplay started it hit me "Oh, its that one phone game."
"I'm glad this game came out just before..." Guys this has been out on mobile for at least a year from what I remember.
I can't wait for the sequel Implosion 2 - Give up Hope
I love the fact that they perfectly stopped at where the mobile demo stops. I've been meaning to pick it up (for the past 3 years), but I lost hope.
Darkdove3 you should really get it. It's awesome. Got it for 2€ and it was even free later for a period
I have such a huge library as it is though. I've been trying to clear a lot of them on my streams though. It's on my list still. We'll see if it's in the cards for me.
This, my good super best friends, is originally a MOBILE game. I remember a friend of mine showing it to me about 2~3 years ago
All hope is lost
This game is great wish the whole game was free
Lordofice 18 I don't. There would be way too many fucking ads to properly feel immersed.
Plus I feel like the quality of this game deserves a paid tag.
This is a mobile game that came out in 2015. Check your App Store on iOS. The company did say they have plans to release on all consoles eventually.
I remember playing this on my phone.
Woolie... You pilot the Eva!
Napoleon sounds like the squid researcher from the Splatoon directs.
Are we looking at the pilot for Woolie's next solo lp project?
I get the feeling they're being very appreciative of just an "ok" game
In fearful day, in raging night,
With cannons primed, ions ignite.
When Mechas blaze with blinding Light,
Get fucking hype, for hope burns bright!
Hasn't this game been on Phones for awhile? I remember playing this in highschool.
I can't wait for Implosion - Never Lose Hope 2: The Loss of the Hope
Really enjoying soft-mecha week 2.
Never lose hope of cool mecha games finding their way into the market.
! HOPE OF NEW MECHAWEEK AT RISK !
man, why cant this be on steam? this is cool!
Implosion for the win, man.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
For those wondering, this was originally a smartphone game. they let you play the first 3 or 4 stages for free iirc.
Never lose hope that Clem will return
Never lose hope...
Unless you enter the
*Woolie Hole*
I played this on my phone ages ago
Literally years ago
Lol, I remember this game. It definitely was phone game before it hit the Switch.
This and Arcane Souls were a couple of the better controller enabled games on my Nexus, good stuff. Dungeon Hunter 5 was good too.
This game is so good. I played it on android before; it's a pretty short game, but it's good for the price and platform.
Wait.
Two mecha one-offs in the span of a few days?
NEW MECHAWEEK POSSIBLY CONFIRMED?
Mecha Week 2.0 continues! You can't pretend it's not what it is!
i played this game on mobile a year or two ago. this is really a good game but its odd that it came from a company that released only rhythm games. glad to see the release on switch get positive purchases and cant wait to play it again when i own a switch
FULL LP! FULL LP! FULL LP!
This was actually a phone game for years before it hit the Switch.
It's like all of Woolie's namedays came at once.
Still the best intro song ever lol
Anyone else play this when it came out on IOS ages ago?
Nice to see they're porting PSone games to the Switch.
Project Overkill is my jam...they should remake that game but with these graphics
