Had a Rogue for the longest time and never had an Issue with the CVT….. Sometimes I feel like people just choose to hate CVT and make it there whole personality. Nissan KILLED it with the 2024 Rogue 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have a 2021 SV and I love it. I get great gas mileage out on the road - clocked 37mpg last trip in the mountains. I'm a mom of 2 dogs and one immature husband. lol ;) I leased it, but going to purchase in the next month. I know a lot of people talk about the darned CVT trans, but I plan on doing the upkeep on it; as I have watched several videos on how to keep her running for a long time.
We just traded our 23 Pathfinder for a 24 Rogue SL with the premium package. My wife loves the Rogue, loves the options, room for the 2 kids, dogs in back. Drives incredible. Engine has pep. Gets 10-13 mpg more then Pathfinder. I made a trip the other day and hit 41.5 mpg for the entire trip.
as a cell phone sales person, the rogue having the google assistant is one of the greatest technology advancement Nissan has made. Google Assistant is the TOP voice assistant for anything
It's said Nissan is said to have lots of issues with their CVT transmission however I have had zero issues with regular transmission fluid change every 40k miles and it's been now almost 9 years as I have 2015 rogue
I hate hate hate Nissan. Not just because of their CVT transmission but also because of how one of their dealerships treated me in the past. But I will watch this cuz I support your channel!
Agreed! Any buyer who is going to splurge for a leather interior, panoramic sunroof and trim-zone climate control is going to be highly disappointed the Bose stereo is not available on the SL. Meanwhile, Nissan management scratches their head wondering why their lots are full of unsold Rogues. If they are disproportionately SL’s aging on dealer lots - the lack of a higher grade stereo is why.
@@bombchu9308 the rav4 uses only in the hybrid model and has some sort of traditional first gear. And allegedly Honda’s cvts are better. Don’t get me wrong I dislike Jatco cvts the worse but I’d rather avoid any of them
Looka like they are trying to be premium like the Hyundai Santa Fe with the center console area pass through storage, shades in the rear, panoramic sun roof, and the list goes on....
Disappointing compared to the expectations I had about the new 2024 Nissan Rogue SL, since it does not have the same equipment and accessories, even with the premium package, of my 2923 Rogue SL. It is very sad that it has not improved except in information and the digital cluster, since it continues to be manufactured without the low level of window washer water alarm, without the Bose tweeter speakers, without the ambient light, without the Rogue light in the doors, without the cover of the trunk, without the activation or unlocking buttons for the rear doors, and other “little things” that my 2023 SL does have, plus they no longer manufacture Rogué SL or Platinum in Silver Brilliant colors! It is supposed to be a matter of improving, updating and innovating and this is not happening! I must comment that the “leather” upholstery is still of poor quality, as are the piano black finishes.
You know one thing you don't do in your reviews and I find weird is you never review the seats. You're going to be spending you next 5 years in this thing I think the seats should be something of a priority (over infotainment)
Nice car, too bad Nissan's three-cylinder turbos are junk motors. There is a federal investigation for these failing prematurely. If you like the Rogue, consider a Mitsubishi Outlander. Same car, but with Nissan's older four-cylinder that is a decent motor.
Not to be rude but Nissan is dead wrong for this! they should've just put a 4cyl in it if they wanted great mpg or made it a hybrid! this SUV needs at least 250hp or more! and no cvt! give it all led turn signals and I would buy it!

Most the issues are with the older models back in 2015 ish era.
3 cylinder with a CVT. Both to have known issues. For anyone interested, this is a lease only vehicle

These would lead the segment if it wasn’t for the cvt. Interior is much nicer than Rav4 and Crv IMO
