I have a 2012 and it’s still going strong. The turbo 3 cylinder is concerning for long term ownership. Next new car would be my 5th Nissan, but looking at other brands.
Yo, I got the Platinum model, and it's freaking amazing!!! I had a Lexus RX350h in 2021, and it was a great car. I thought I'd stick with Lexus for the long haul. But then, my wife and I randomly stopped at a Nissan dealership, and long story short, I ended up with the best SUV ever! You gotta drive the Platinum to see what you've been missing out on!!
You could also look for the Premium package on the SV and get the heated seats with heated steering wheel. :D It adds on $2000 but it is still cheaper than the SL.
The SV premium is fine but go up to the SL and you get the bigger screen with better tech and a 360 camera, thats worth it for me, Platinum is a bit of a waste imo, just get an SL premium if youre thinkinf of getting a plat
The new SV rogue no longer has “the foot activated liftgate” like the 2018-2020 Rogue SV. So do not get the Rogue SV due to lack of “foot trunk activation”.
Least preferred car. Hyundai Tucson limited is far better by its fine modern interior, power, Mileage, driving quality, features including safety and technology And more., only Rouge premium looks good but still way expensive lol. 😆
Comfortable yes, but the engine buzzes and feels like it is seriously compromised at highway speeds. Maybe for a 3 year lease when mainly sticking to local driving,. And only if you are getting a great deal. If you are purchasing for long term use, steer away..
@bijuvarughese3535 I've got a 2019 RX350. And a 2023 Subaru Forester Premium. I test drove the Rogue, and about 10 other cars before buying the Subaru.
@Peichen01 The price point is relevant, I was trying to be closer to $30K than to $35K. And I'm not ready for a hybrid anything. The Rogue is a little faster than the CRV, Sportage, and the Subaru. 0-60 for the Rogue is 8.1 seconds, and the quarter mile is 16.1. The Subaru and Honda are both 8.5 and 16.5. The Kia is the slowest at 8.9 and 16.7. That said, I would strongly recommend the SUV I almost bought, the Mazda CX-5. The non- turbo engine has comparable numbers to the Honda and Subaru. But the turbo option is the fastest compact SUV that I test drove. 0-60 was under 7 seconds, and the quarter mile is about 15.3. And it was the best handling as well. I would have picked the non turbo, as it was in my price range. What made my mind up on the Subaru was test driving both in terrible weather. I had test drove both vehicles on a nice day and was leaning towards Mazda. Someone recommended doing the test drives a second time in bad weather, and what a difference. I feel comfortable taking the Subaru out in any type of weather. The Mazda has a good AWD system, but the Subaru is at a different level. Plus, it has the best visibility of anything I checked out. And one of the bigger fuel tanks and driving ranges. Good luck 👍
@@whitelotus1594 Thank you for the reply and so sorry I meant to type which was the quietest at highway speed 😅. Terrible road surfaces here in New York

Great u have the platinum trim ‘cause it definitely has the “foot trunk activation”!!!!!!!!!
AND!!!!………The Platinum is still built in Japan!! Better build quality
Nissan is better than Lexus?
But still no vented seats all the other dealerships are doing that on their platinum trims nissan should follow suit
If you want the better build quality, get the Platinum! It’s fully built in Japan where their work ethic is second to none.
All trims can be built anywhere - I have a ‘24 SV that was built in Japan (VIN J). My friend has a ‘24 Plat built in North America (VIN 5)
@@NadaNada-pj2dg That may be true, but ALL platinum model are built in Japan.
@@joenissan The guy above you literally just said he knew of a platinum was built in North America.

My company has a fleet of SV’s and I can verify that it is quick and nimble and fun to drive.
SV indeed sounds like the smart pick, thank you Jeff!
The new SV rogue no longer has “the foot activated liftgate” like the 2018-2020 Rogue SV.
We have to have heated memory seats. There is a foot difference in our heights.
My 2023 s awd has been great to me
2024 Nissan Rogue Platinum verry nice! I want to known When will this car be sold in Vietnam? Thanks
Why there is no (e-power) model in US ?
CX5 is the best

It might be option you can add with a package
Nice vehicle, but lots of catastrophic failures since 1.5 turbo!! Don’t not buy this vehicle.
That’s a lie
Ned more power minimum 250 oh 300
that suv is great on Gas!

201 hp? Is it a toy?
There is nothing wrong with 201 hp, what car do you have that makes you think 201 is little?
It doesn’t drive like a toy! Saves lots of gas though! It’s excellent do t believe all the negativity!
i just wished the SV Premium comes with the surround camera. It only makes sense
Great review.
