I just got one for the main purpose of it recording when I’m not in the vehicle. Removing it so it doesn’t get stolen would defeat the purpose of the parking mode option. Haven’t installed it yet. Great review!
Note, @2:12 you state that you like the fact that you can just remove the main front camera from the magnetic mount and store it in your glove box to prevent theft. That sounds great however, you also need to disconnect the USB-C wire to the rear cameras which after a while of constantly doing that I don't see the USB-C slot in the main camera lasting very long. Also disconnecting the rear cameras and putting the main unit in the glove box defeats the whole parking security feature of the system. Something to keep in mind! 🤔
Man I want one but when you mount it high up like that you just have a wire dangling down? Does that get annoying? I guess if I were to get one I could mount it lower and drape the wire over my dash but I have a Silverado so mounting high I would get better view.. I dunno
High price for No 4K? Cameras (from website) Front Cam 2.7K, Inside Cam 1080p, Rear Cam 1080p, and the other Rear Cam 1080p. 1080p for inside is good, but for front and rear outward-facing cameras, the higher the better if the clarity is there.
First thank you ! One, does the rear camera see ok through window tint? Two, I have a full size four door truck with a shell and was thinking of installing the rear camera inside of shell on rear shell glass hatch which would show inside of shell/topper etc and rear view….. again would rear camera see through rear window tint and is there an extension cable to go from front camera all the way back to rear bed inside of shell etc…? Thanks anyone 😊 *edit, I see your caption that you have window tint….. now just wondering if cable would reach the back or is there an extension cable available……
I'm in Australia and purchased this Vantrue N4 Pro 4K dashcam for my Mazda 2 (2020) and found on opening the box that it is very heavy and BIG. There is no reason from a design standpoint to make the whole that heavy and the cord (from the cigarette lighter) is not long enough to hide it in the panels so it had to go direct and in front of the dash - very ugly arrangement. The double sided tape that came with the factory couldn't hold the dashcam on the windscreen because it is THAT heavy. I got rid of the factory tape and used a 3M tape and it also couldn't hold it on the windscreen due to the WEIGHT. Moved to using Loctite superglue and it held only for a few days. I'm considering throwing it in the trash bin. This device is too heavy for ANY glue to hold it on the windscreen. Very badly designed. Product not tested at all.If you live in a country that has a normal summer (30+ C), you wont be able to keep it glued to the windscreen. Highly recommend you do NOT buy this dashcam. You have been warned.
Hey is there an option to choose which camera views you want recording at one time? So can I switch off the interiors recording but leave the front and rear going? Thanks
I bought this camera as the video i watched on You tube showed that it continually recorded 24 hours a day. Well, it does not. Don't waste this amount of money buying this Camera, there are tons of cheaper, clearer cameras out there. This camera does not even show the Licence plates of the cars in front.
How come in 2024 no one understands how to make a legitimately good review? Yeah, you twisted the cameras, but you never showed the actual angles that the rear camera is capable of. I want to know if I can look at the bumper AND behind my vehicle instead of using it for inside coverage.
The clear plastic doesn’t need to be cut. It’s to stick to your window and then to stick the camera onto it.
Not screen Protectors, They are electrostatic to help it attach it to your windows.
Dude it's 3 days in, best of 2024. 362 days left, let's gooooo.
Hahah early bird !!

Just got a redtiger recently! I do like that inside cabin view 🤔
Awesome review. Definitely buying this dashcam once my wife approved.
How do you access live wifi view from app?
this camera works awesome 👍

You run the wire around the window trim and back down. Don’t let it hang

@@titaniummaster1532 yes I have tint and it still is fine a little darker then the front camera obviously. Yes cable is long for the rear.
@@BulliKid thank you for the info, I really appreciate it appreciate it the reply 😄

Did you use the provided electrostatic stickers?
I agree with 💯 it happened to me few times specially in hot summer
Hey thanks, you just made me buy this cam thanks for the review in Australia
Hey bro I don’t think you posted the link to the dash cam
You are right. Posted earlier then I should have. Still waiting for affiliate link from company. Thanks for the heads up :)

Yes you have options which cameras you want
@@BulliKid thank you!
After 2 months are you happy with it?
I have not used it much since it’s just recording automatically. No accidents. Knock on wood. No issues that I have to report.

Mine works fine, you probably got a defective one
Can you show images of how the camera shows people's front plates? Because all I hear are good things about the video quality.
does it record even engine is off??
You have to get the hard wire kit that goes to the car battery
Hi can you do get video from the card into your pc, not from the app . Looks like so poor of quality on from camera
Yes you just put the card in a reader and into PC.
If you want to capture a license plate directly in front of you at night, you have to dim your headlights momentarily
almost 20k subz
Yesss I can’t wait!!!
@@BulliKid soon very soon then to 50k
