I deeply appreciate the depths of the master's thought but when i heard from him that the Ucraine is defending aur freedom and values i would asked wich one's? The values of Stephan Bandera whose deeds are highly regarded in that land?. The one who was responsible for the most heinous pogroms of which the maestro referred that have caused so much suffering to his ancestors? no maestro i would not agree with that Ukraine is doing a proxy war on behalf of NATO (but there is more than that). The maestro have never considered that the third reuich ideology have neve estinguished? But is kickin and alive in the western istitutions such as WEF UN NATO OMS OCSE FMI and so on. Obviously i am on the side of Ukranian's commpon people most of whom do not want to know anything about the war against Russia but are hunted down the streets as if they were stray dogs to send them to die on the front line (there are hundreds of videos that testify to this)

I disagree. If you want to be accepted into the world community, then you must be peaceful. The citizens of a country can either support or reject the actions of its government. Otherwise, they must pay the price for not upholding national and international principles of justice. History teaches that passivity creates the condition for war and conflict.

Did Tolstoj invaded Ukraine? Or Tchaikovsky did it?

Wagner's music is said to have inspired Adolf Hitler. Should we abandon him as well from the international repertoire? This is a quite unartistic point of view, to say the least!

@@anastasiap.6435 There is no such thing as “political neutrality” or Culture free of ideology or ties to to commerce. I am saying that there should be a temporary ban on cultural activity that provides indirect support to dictatorships. All economic activity-including cultural-should cease until peace is restored and the criminals responsible are brought to justice.

@@TheEleatic you seem to me as someone who knows that there are two aspects to cultural activity. The economic one that relates to profit made from artistic productivity (artists' payments etc) and the non-economical one that embraces creativity, expression, communication with all humankind. I believe that even when great artists were under the payroll of rich patrons, what they produced was the result of their innate artistic genius. This is why their work is timeless and above all conflicts. Political scene is often something very different from what a simple observer perceives. Schemes we simple people know nothing about lie underneath. So, let's just enjoy the music!
