    India has a great team in their hands with good bench strength. This pace attack can surely win us the Test championship. Many people might hate Kohli for his occasional faulty selections but he has made India fitter and more aggressive. I love that he has favored pace so much. This bunch is more hungry for wins than ever. The simple fact is we, now, have a pace attack to win anywhere. If batsmen can rally around Kohli, we can surely be the next giants of cricket.

      @WSTRNS 5 лет назад +5

      @mathmagician how poor ur thoughts are, they were playing at home, they had their best possible bowling line up, still they lost, here in India, at our home ground we can easily win without even our 3-4 top batsmen, including Kohli & Pujara, against any opposition, just by our bowlers we can outplay any country at our home ground. so ur logic is a very lame one.

    • @WSTRNS
      @WSTRNS 5 лет назад +2

      @mathmagician plz don't prove again and agan how dumb u r, at so flat Sidney pitch Aussie batsmen were so poor against Kuldeep and Jadeja, at our home we would have Ashwin and Chahal too, and looking last 4-5 years batting history of cricket world, not a single player is capable of scoring big runs against that spin attack on Indian pitches.

    so proud!
    What a series ! Contribution from almost all players.
    Pujara man of the series, The wall 2.0 👏
    Well played young pant, first ever Asian wicketkeeper batsman to score a century in Australia.
    Well played mayank agarwal, vice captain rahane, vihari and rohit.
    ofc our spinner Jadeja/Kuldip wp.
    best pace attack India ever got, Shammi,Bumrah,Umesh,Ishant,
    Bhuvi❤ Magnificent
    And last, Captain King Kohli, leads from front, no one is giving enough credit to his captaincy..
    What a captaincy he did,always active on field,energic.
    he used the field and bowlers magnificently.
    believed in his bowlers, many thinks that wrong team selection in 2nd test about picking umesh but because of he believes in his bowlers, they were always there to pick wickets.
    Also no sledging, drama on this series because no warner no Smith no Johnson, the sledging kings.

      @austinbishop9609 5 лет назад +1

      Suleman Bangi there was no major sledging apart from the laughing incident between Paine and kohli but that was funny banter for the most part. But the reason was India are just far too good for our team and they have no reason to sledge.

      I don't know what pleasure people get from pointing out somebody's failure. They tried their best but just weren't good enough. Vijay looks past his prime. Rahul is too good a player to play this badly. His work ethic is also far better than most players. Selectors should have picked Mayank in the beginning of the series as he was the best opener in the domestic circuit. I doubt if Vijay can make a comeback barring injuries to other openers. Hopefully a break may help Rahul regain his confidence and he can comeback a better player.

    Back in 2003-2004, the fab 4 piled on runs like the run machines they had turned out to be. However, Steve Waugh's determination made sure both teams were winners.
    2007-2008 was one series which became a regret in Indian cricket after those bizarre umpire decisions; India were clearly the favorites. Post that series, it was an oblivion whenever we visited Australia.
    A decade later, to see the team not just win but conquer the series Down Under is truly a testament to the tenacity of the team. Congratulations for a well-earned triumph.

      Gaurav Kumar Meena, Have you realized that each generation of cricketers in India beat their last generation and set a new bench mark? Ganguly was called the best, then came Dravid to replace him and then MSD. MSD set a new bench mark and was thought to be the best until Kholi came along. All this happening in a matter of 15 years. Wonder what the next generation will throw at us - I believe they have the potential to beat Kholi, even as Kholi beats Sachin.

    Congratulations India! Very well done! A lot of great positives from the series. One of my big satisfactions is that they won this series largely without any major batting contribution from Kohli. Kohli hit a hundred, but in a losing cause. He made one valuable 80 in Melbourne, but he didn't make anything else substantial. Pujara was outstanding, but guys like Agarwal, Pant, Rahane, and Rohit provided the necessary support when required. Bowling was excellent from both the fast bowlers and the spinners. There are still a few points they should address. One is the third opener. Rahul's confidence is completely shot. He needs to play a lot of domestic cricket before being included again. Dhawan and Vijay have had enough chances as well. Despite a few useful innings, Rahane really needs to buck up. He needs to be the third anchor in the side with Kohli and Pujara. He needs to score hundreds and not just the 30-80 run range he has been making. Rohit and Vihari are solid choices for number 6. I think both have looked good in a few innings they have played. Pant is a good batsman but he needs to improve his wicketkeeping. He's young, so hopefully he will improve. Overall, excellent work.

    2:38 Harsha can't find words in praise of Virat Kohli. And I bet it's NOT bcz he is overwhelmed by Virat's attitude.

    Still i believe the quality player smith is, the scoreline wouldn't have been the same if he was there... But kudos to Indian batsmen, they played well... Bowlers had there job cut due to absence of smith and warner.
