I was today years old that I found out that you could move around the '64' on the title screen! Great game! I played this game so much as a kid, the rumple pack blew my mind back then!
A great playthrough of a great game! Lol I figured you'd burn a hole in your stomach if you were gonna take a spicy shot every time Slippy needed help, especially when that first one was like 15 seconds in, but he didn't do as bad as I thought he would! Yeah, this game was always such a blast. It would have been cool if they'd continued developing new Starfox games on PC/more modern gaming systems. It would have been really sweet to expand the game where you could either sim to build up/develop planets to send resources to the main base or be part of the flight crew getting resources and weapons from the sim players, especially in giant multiplayer games. Speaking of multiplayer, yeah, my friends and I didn't really play this one much together just cause I think it was overshadowed by Mario Kart and 007.
Ha yeah Slippy got it together. Of course some levels are worse for him, like the one where he gets kidnapped... that would've been painful. And I fully agree, Starfox would be awesome on modern systems with a lot more depth, content, graphically, etc.
Cant believe you skipped Aquas! Although the independence day stage is awesome...wish they were on the same path! Can you tell I'm watching this in waves?
40:54 Scrappy is the forbidden love child that Peppy and Slippy don't mention.
Ha there you go.
I really can't think of anything that they could have improved when they released this game.Legendary back then and still fun to this day.
Yep as evidenced by the fact that I had a blast playing this one.
"slippy needs help", this is going to be akin to "someone says Willie" in Rockin Cats.
Ha, yep it happened quite a bit more than initially anticipated.

Ha yep, nice little detail they snuck in there.
Lol I also had no idea that was possible until watching this playthrough.
and yes, we need a VG101 on this!
Agreed!
Such a great game, and such a great episode! That was a great summer for the N64 indeed!
Yep, great summer to be a kid, great summer for the 64!

Falco's gal.
Best game on N64. I beat every route possible back in the day. And also to this day I always quote Star Wolf. You're Good! but I'm Bettah)
That voice acting was top notch!

Yeah Aquas is an awesome level and the sole one where you get to use the sub, but I couldn't resist hanging with Bill!
