2016 Smart FourTwo All Keys Lost With AVDI

The Smart FourTwo from 2016-2018 here in the states is almost impossible to make a key for if all the keys are lost. I saw a news blurb from ABRITES that they could do All Keys Lost.. We put it to the test... Excuse the video quality, it was a day when we were dodging rain showers and windstorms.. The offline program needs an existing key, the online program walks right thru the programming.. super easy..

So how did you solve the issue when it was only cranking once? I got a key to program in with the smart pro but it only cranks once then after a couple lock cycles it’ll crank again.

Nope, had to be sent to the dealer. It sucked.

Have the same problem with my smart car. No one in Austin texas can do nor have the software to do the job. Any recommendations

Have you tried Metroplex locksmith? he should have the software...

How many of those were imported. You really get the ones no one else wants to do.
I guess that’s why they pay you the big bucks.

I wish they paid me the big bucks... I am sure there are at least 3 or 4 of these around... The funny part is usually I get the referal from the mercedes dealer, this one was a friend who had tried most of the other programmers out there, and none could do it... I was amazed at how easy it was when we figured out the process..

@@timtracy9442 Does smartpro not cover most US vehicles? Smartpro is the bee knees in Europe for Renault systems in my opinion. I've done a few of these now and they take about 2 minutes, even if all keys lost once key is cut

@@timtracy9442 Weird. Smartpro list the Smart FourTwo I'm Europe. I've done at least 10 all keys lost in 2 minutes with Smartpro 😟

@@timtracy9442 Here we can do all keys lost on renault clio IV 2014+ in minutes where avdi asks you to remove smart box and load eeprom for whatever reason. Very strange
