Lester I've been watching for about 2 yrs and I'm going through the ones I missed. I started watching when my Mom was diagnosed with cancer and I lost her last April. And your videos got me through the roughest times in my life had losing my husband less than 6 yrs earlier and Dad in 2019 were devastatingly difficult times in my young life. I have loved how you, Jami and Jake are totally respected by Tex, Santiana, Pearl, Gracie and Sontoro!! Or I should say you all have love, respect and kindness for each other and it's been the most beautiful thing to have watched over time...just beautiful!
Thank you all for helping me when I needed it the most and still helping me navigate in the future as well. You all provide a safe haven for me and again I thank you for that 💕💞💕

Try dry packing cement rather than mix then soak with water then let set.mixing is fine for bricking and such. Dry pour into post holes way to go.

Never mind that. I'm surprised anyone would use wood plank fences and what is basically big chicken wire to try to contain bulls. You need deep set posts in the ground of thick, strong wood, and heavy wood crossbeams. Either that or you just go full elephant with the giant girder fence.

We had a really, really expensive bull that did this. My dad tried everything , at one time he had 15 ft of the heaviest ring made and that didnt even stop him.40 lb blocks attached to his rings to drag didn't stop him. A Peterbilt with a load of logs did. The truck was less than 6 days old and totaled. Dad said he wasn't crying , but he crying mixed with that maniacal laughter. He wasn't friendly or approachable like Tex either! The bull not my dad lol. One mean bull

Oh gosh, that happened to my mom when she was a teenager and growing up on a ranch. For some reason the bull zeroed in on her during a cattle drive and began chasing her and her horse! The farm hands tried everything to distract that thing, tried cutting him off with every truck they had on hand, but that bull just wouldn't let up! They finally had to sacrifice one of the trucks by letting the bull T-bone it and knock himself out just to get the bull to stop charging!

Excellent Fence, all the hard work you did is impressive. I'm struggling to keep my pot belly pig contained, she is a rescue, grew up in a tiny pen of about 8'x8' until she was two years old, then got strong enough to bust out and her owner could never fix it to keep her in that pen again. So she let her run loose, which wasn't good, when I saw her eating peaches under my peach trees, I was alarmed that she was eating the pits and would poison herself. Turned out she didn't eat them, they were all spit out on the ground. But we have coyotes and I feared for her safety. I had the space, lots of space, a box stall to stay in at night and three acres fenced in for her to roam around on, so I told my neighbor that she could live on my place. She was very happy for two years, got spoiled and now she wants free range of all the property and the neighbors property on the other side. I will fix what she broke, only for her to break through in another spot a few days later. I am at my wits end, if I have to build an actual pen for her, I can't afford to redo the whole three acres of pasture, It will have to be a much smaller space. I wish I could get her to understand that she is going to end up getting less if she doesn't stop trying to get more. She is a very smart pig, she literally made her own hay last Summer and Fall. There were some days that she decided it was a hay making day, she would work hard gathering mouthfuls of long grass and lying it carefully around her big straw nest in her box stall and there it would dry out and turn into perfect hay, then she would gather the next batch and continued on like that. I was shocked the first time I saw the fresh grass all around the edge of her bed, wondering who would take the time to do that and why. But then I watched carefully and saw her carrying in more grass and when I checked, there was another ring of fresh grass placed nicely all the way around her bed. But now she has thought up some new projects that requires breaking out of her pasture. Probably wants to conquer the World, she thinks big. :)

He can easily jump that fence. Our bull (a limousin) jumped an 8 ft stone wall. He didn’t even run and jump. He just bunched his muscles and jumped. The dog and I just stood there not knowing what to do! That fence looks nice but it’s not holding a bull.

I had a Hereford bull 2800 lbs. Built a 3" pipe fence sink the poles 30" he lifted out of the ground had to dehorn him his horns weren't very big but they were incredibly strong. We loved him he died of old age.
