Im a beginner... I want to buy a camera searching in FB marketplace which is better in your opinion Sony a58 vs Sony a5000 these two are coming on same range for me what shoud i consider...not for vlogging but use for photos & videos too ...
Both capable cameras, I would look at which lenses are available for each so that you have a clear path when you decide to upgrade your lenses in the future.
It looks like my comment got taken down. I shared a link from flea bay for a £40 brand new beginners or professional camera that I came across a man using or trying to use recently. He actually approached me for advice, I had my K3mkiii in my hand. My point is it’s a pity he didn’t have advice like your offering far sooner, as it is he’s wasted his money and time and perhaps he’ll never return to photography again as the so called camera he bought is only fit for the bin and flea bay should be ashamed for allowing such rubbish to be sold especially badged as professional.
I've had to set the comments filter to automatically do that for comments with links in them as I was getting spammed with alot of unwanted links. Yes it is a pity some people don't give things a chance. Hope you persuaded him to give it another shot.

Good advice Lee ! buy what you can afford and practice practice practice especially for some1 unsure of which genre of photography to truly follow !
Definitely, the costs can add up very quickly with all this tempting photography gear that's for sure!
