I like how this is a series of breakdowns of super hero psychology. That is good writing.

I agree, I like how moon Knights comics are seen as a deep dive on what makes a character who they are

I want Marc back. I recall Shroud’s origin appearance and it involved a goddess. I don’t think he was a darkforce user despite similarities. Also, the brand covered his eyes and upper face. He was interesting in his premiere and guest appearances but writers that followed lost all original intent and turned him into a c-list antihero. Shame. Maybe the character can be redeemed when this is all over.

he always was...though he wasn't so GOOD at it. he could invoke darkness and knew how to fight. that was it. apparently his recent lunacy gave him an upgrade. or maybe it's a prelude to the whole "turning you into a portal to shield the world from the sun" thing. And Marvel is FULL of people they came up with in the 80s and 90s that were "colorful" originally, but became passe and objects of ridicule. go take a look a the history of "D-Man" Dunphy or Jack Monroe sometime. If a character can't be a "viable hero" you can always turn them into a train wreck and sell comics that way.

@@alexsolomon8127 Marvel Premiere offered out a bunch of such characters and I absolutely loved how there was never any promise besides that one issue. Demonhunter was very cool, another tortured soul fighting for redemption through violence. Scarecrow freaked my young mind out and I wanted more but it was decades later he popped up as a Lord of Fear or some such along with Nightmare and others. Meh. Scarecrow was an antihero. Writers will do as writers do. I was always big on staying with creator's intent.

The goddess was Kali and I'm quite sure she wouldn't be cool with the whole changing faiths thing. 😮😅

@@ghostdog1758 no, but he WAS mentally troubled at the time. i'm not sure if his powers came straight from her or not. it's...hazy.

Wait, he had a KID with Marlene? When did this happen? This looks good, but I was kind of hoping that 8-Ball would do something like kill the doctor (Or vice versa.). There really wasn’t a twist.
