Ocelot's delayed reactions make this fight so cheesy you could make a margherita with it.
The over the top nature of these cutscenes makes a lot more sense if you imagine this entire game as the VR simulation of the Shadow Moses incident that Raiden was trained with.
I imagine it as a story Otacon tells to Sunny in the plane while they wait for Snake to finish his missions in MGS4
So unless Snake came along and blew up that wall, was Ocelot sealed in that room forever?
No because there was a level two door in the room that leads into the armory.
Ive called him “Revolver Oshawott” since the PS1 days.
Even before “Oshawotts” were invented.
All of the Twin Snakes cut scenes slap but being able to first person shoot (as opposed to the original) trivialises some of the harder boss fights - timeless games none the less
Introduction/talk : 3 minutes
Actual fight (if you're skilled and know how to do it) : 8 seconds.
Seriously why did Octopus claim it was the mind probe? He could have used the same excuse as baker
That's a clue for the player. Also, Octopus isn't that smart.
They didn't know about the implants. There's a scene later where mantis says, "I don't know why I couldn't see into his mind."
Revolver (Revolver Ocelot) Ocelot.
- Revolver Ocelot
The thing that bothered me about The Twin Snakes is that the cut scenes are way too overdramatic. The PlayStation version nailed them all perfectly.
*OG:* Two men running laps while occasionally shooting each other.
*Twin Snakes:* Two men hiding behind support beams while occasionally shooting at each other.
Growth.
Between Patric Zimmerman and Josh Keaton's Ocelot Voiceovers, I like Major Ocelot's Voice.
4:26 is too damn funny
