God, the new expressions they give her in the remake makes me wish for one for PM64 some day.
Maybe if the remake of TTYD does well, we can get more remakes of those games

PM64 started development as a direct sequel
so it would make sense to do PM64 next but i understand that TTYD is more popular

I’m still surprised they skipped right to TTYD just because fans wanted it, instead of remaking the original game first. Though I guess they figured it’s on N64 Online, but a lot of people are just gonna miss out on that experience because of it. Would’ve been nice to have both get this treatment
Well it is the fan favorite so it’s not much of a surprise, maybe one day we’ll get the classic paper Mario remake
The original has been ported to death. TTYD was only on gamecube and you has to get a mortage to buy a copy.

Well, I like Nintendo like that, that the expressions and personalities of the characters are more varied in the remake and not generic and soulless as they have been doing lately.

I’d love it if Nintendo used some of the ideas & stuff they used for TTYD here & gave PM64 a remaster as well.
While the original game can be played if you paid for the Online Expansion pass on Switch, it’d be cool to see the game’s story with newer features & graphics.
I love how awesome the new models look for original partners from Paper Mario N64 with Bow and Parakarry in The Thousand Year Door Remake. I hope we get to see a remake of Paper Mario N64 in the future. But also Bow's voice so adorable!

I was thinking they could have bring 64 all partners as NPCS to talk to cuz they had unused sprites in the gamecube just such a missed opportunity
I hope we get a remake of the ORIGINAL Paper Mario game on the next gen console with the same engine as the Thousand Year Door remake.
I hope they later add a feature where you could have more partners (but since you can only have 7) send the one you want to change to the inn.
This could probably add the feature to add more partner variants, and we could maybe have Bow as a partner again

man, Bow is just too adorable with her new text sound and expressions, already making me smile like an idiot for the barely a minute cameo here, whereas for flurrie and mowz in game I was just stone faced and like "okay" with their scenes.
not to diss them or anybody who likes those two, they just kinda are just okay to me.
while it may be but a pipe dream, I can still hope that one day we get another new paper mario rpg that looks as great as this one, were we have Bow, Gombella, and Vivian back, it would be peak.

Love this remake to pieces but there’s no reason to not have finally put the other PM64 partners in the game 😞 I still don’t know why they weren’t in the original even though they were fully redesigned and in the game.
Bow has always been best girl, I hope we get another game with all the previous partners + new partner options in the future, it would be such a cool idea to have more recruitment options and customize your party

I'm not trying to be racist but from a design stand point, The devs just flat out bleed 80 of the green out of her, come on people keep the details rather make them less unique.
I guess it was my fault in that regard. My capture card and upscalers combined might have made the footage more bright
