I wanted to see if I had other lives, and if so what did I learn in those lives? I found a lot of other lives. Most of them were actually way back in History. I remembered Ancient Cultures which were Ancestor, and Elder Cultures. I like this style of Civilizations best. Then after Wars most of the men died the cultures became Grandmother based. Foundations of Matriarchal, women powered you pointed this out. Now it is Patriarchal men in charge. My favorite is Ancient Civilizations, then Matriarchal. In this American life I am Female in a Male dominated society. I love that they have saved the Matriarchal style for the rest of the World to see. It is the culture in almost south Asia. In Japan, at the middle ages men (husband) went to live in his wife family and sometime take the name of his wife familly. In tai/thai culture (Thailand, Laos...) the child belong to the mother, the daughters inherit the house, the land... Marriage is important but not crucial because whaterver the child belong to the mother. A woman married or not the child belong to her. The women are the symbol of the culture and identity. It is the woman clothes which decide that ethny and society is.````

But surnames and properties are passed by the Mother to the daughter. Even if boys/ men get property their sister will always have the bigger share. That was the expectation. However according to research, Mosuo culture has always co-existed with Patriarchal culture and survived. It is very resilient. So I think that might be here to stay.
Unfortunately, from what I have read, Chinese officials have been working to destroy this cultural system for years. Because the father isn't present in this matrilineal system, they didn't necessarily need to keep track, and thus didn't have birth certificates. The Chinese gov't has denied Mosuo children a right to an education if they do not have a father on their birth certificate.
This is something I really like. A society where men have no say. I was hoping for a country like Saudi Arabia with the genders reversed but it’s better than nothing.

Men take care of their sisters’ kids, help other families fix their house, go out and earn money, also visit their own kids at night or go have walking marriages. They also become politicians, just that their matriarchs have the final say. They don’t have a lot of ambition because they have no inheritance. Their deepest worries is when their sisters only give birth to boys, then they will be left with no family to rely on.

They are, on average more so than in the west. It's just a different structure. The maternal uncles are father figures, and the biological father can choose to contribute as well.

Unfortunately, from what I have read, Chinese officials have been working to destroy this cultural system for years. Because the father isn't present in this matrilineal system, they didn't necessarily need to keep track, and thus didn't have birth certificates. The Chinese gov't has denied Mosuo children a right to an education if they do not have a father on their birth certificate.
