    With a side-by-side picture comparison with Sony and Samsung, I was instantly sold to Hisense! I got a 55 inch 4K Android TV at almost half the cost of a similarly spec'd Sony. It's a brilliant VA panel with deep rich blacks and excellent colour reproduction. The speakers are also pretty good! The remote is well built and looks modern. Overall, I don't think that buying an overpriced TV just for the big brand makes sense. Get a Hisense!

      And support their junk & deal with the realibility issues & then when warranty expires your Tv dies & that's when you realized you've wasted your money & are now looking for a new TV all over again. If this is what you like to do then yes by all means GO FOR IT.

      @@michaeldavis6550 My friend bought a Samsung TV and it died right after the warranty expired. How's that? My iPhone 5S died right after the warranty expired. For no reason. It just died on its own. So in my opinion, no brand is bullet proof. I own both Samsung (8 year old plasma which is still running beautifully) and a Hisense 55 inch. Yes, some brands are better than the others and its entirely upto your risk appetite. Hisense is also a good brand (my TV is made in India) and seems pretty well built with zero lags or niggles so far. My experience has been excellent so far so I can vouch for the brand.

      @@mohitextreme1988 Yes no brand is bullet proof for sure & yes things can happen like that. I've had 6 friends & 2 family members who's all owned hisense & nobody's Tv made it 5yrs & I stayed away. I have 2 samsungs that are 15yrs old & they were the first gen fully led back Tv's & 1 is not starting to have a power supply problem but nothing else has ever happened for 15yrs of heavy use. I have a 51in Sony rear projection Tv I bought new in 2001 that my father in law now has in his family play room in his basement & the TV never every gets shut off. How's that thing still going strong I ask myself & in the end it comes down to who has the best reputation & who's had the most trouble free use & the big 3 aren't the big 3 for no reason. They have built products that last & people keep going back to because of it. Yes your always gonna have some here & their once in a while with a problem but the record for the brands over all are far better then any of the budget company's have ever been able to reproduce. If you really think hard about it. No company that's trying to make money is gonna give you a top notch product & have everything the big brands have & last just as long for the same money. It can't happen they skimp in other areas to keep cost down so internal components are bought cheeper & from off company's to save cost & make their products as apealing as possible to the consumer to get the sale. Trust me they know how to market their products to look as good as possiable for as cheep as possiable but the quality of the internal assembly & components are not what you think & they know you have no way of knowing. IT'S A Budget Tv for a reason. I've had plenty of experience in the field & know how it works. They know well how to trick the consumer.

Samsung is still reasonably priced unlike the overhyped and overpriced Sony Bravia. A lot boils down to the manufacturing as well. Samsung and Hisense are all manufactured locally here in India and considering it is a quite basic technology (unlike mobile phones, which are a lot harder to make properly), I took my chances and have been happy since the one year it's been serving me! If it ever dies out after 5 years, I'd say that it was money well spent! Gives me more reasons to upgrade to a 65 inch ;)

    I bought this TV 2 days ago and I'm not satisfied, I don't know if I caught a defective one but the black is gray and a yellow LED light is blowing around the frames which is unpleasant when watching dark content and loses details

    Is there a big difference between 60hz and 120hz in tv? im looking for the smoothness but iam just going to use it watching movies and sports.

    • @trviis
      @trviis 2 года назад +2

      If you are just buying it for watching movies and sports, you don’t need any more than 60hz. Movies are generally 24fps, and most broadcasts (sports etc) are displayed in 50hz so you’ll be perfectly fine with this
