I don't know why this video does not have a lot more views. I had to go thru a bunch of videos talking marketing nonsense to finally arrive here. Great video, Thank you for describing the technology.
On the contrast part. If the Qled tv doesn't have dimming zones it performs the same that LED-TV. Full array or dimming zones on the LED will also make deeper blacks than on the QLED. So something to keep in mind.
I watched a lot of videos to try and understand the differences, this was the best one to explain it! I already ordered my new TV, but this confirms my QLED choice is best for my bright living room.
Wow, this video is just what we need. When you walk into a tv store, there are just so many options, the average guy has no idea Thanks, I am going to watch it all, and I gave you a like
I bought a Samsung Q80B 85”, it was damaged upon delivery. Took it back to the store to exchange for a new one.. Ended up walking out with a LG 77” C2 series OLED. The QLED has a great picture, but compared to the OLED there is no comparison. OLED had the best picture of all the other types Best Buy had on display. My only concern is the mirror like glare. If it ends up being a problem I will exchange for QNED mini-LED that was the next best picture IMO, and much more affordable than OLED.
We have all three, Nanocell, QLED and OLED. QLED is better for rooms with windows or lots of glare. OLED has best picture but suffers from mirror like reflections. I don't like Nanocell due to the blooming. Thus the 2 QLED are downstairs and the OLED are upstairs and basement. We are getting rid of Nanocell. If you can deal with the blooming it's generally cheaper than QLED and OLED.

I am very impressed with the Hisense mini-LED TV's and it's like midways between OLED and regular LCD's and little risk of burn-in and a much better price.
Good introductory video so people know the types of tv and panel. Just one thing is that the COST have changed over the last 2 years at least in North America. The cost for QLED and OLED are pretty much the same and in some cases the QLED are even more expensive. Now for QD-OLED that's new and hence cost more but that price will see a reduction starting in 2023. I believe that OLED will be as cheap as LED tv because the buyers for OLED will now go to QD-OLED, why buy a OLED when you can get better pic quality on QD-OLED. LG will be forced to sell their OLED panels at a cheaper price now.
@Lawrence Andrews my friend I don't know where you get your numbers, reviews and test results from. If you're doubting me then you're also disagreeing with every reliable reviewer and Rtings. QD-OLED is better is almost ever way possible than any OLED on 2022 models. For 2022 the best all round Tv was Sony QD-OLED follow closely by Samsung S95B then most likley G3 then the rest. Now 2023 models are a different case, LG with their new G3 having MLA technology, the test will be between QD-OLED and LG G3 MLA but that we have to wait to test.
@Lawrence Andrews no argument, just read, test and watch reliable sources. You can contact Rtings, FOMO, Vincent, Brian, Tech with KG, Classy and the list goes on (or maybe you don't know any of these reliable sources) you can let them know that YOU think they ALL lied and you're correct.🤣

I have an OLED in my living room and a Samsung in the bedroom. The LG OLED screen is amazing, makes my Samsung (which is about a few years older) seem a little washed out.
That would depends on the model. If you're comparing an OLED with a basic LCD tv then that's not a real comparison. Have to compare say the LG C2 with Samsung QN95B then you will see. Neither of of those 2 I mentioned are better than each other because both have their advantages and disadvantages
If you would position the monitor in a centralised angle (where you'd face it directly), VA would deliver the best image quality for streaming and browsing... But if it would be placed side by side with another monitor, where it would have to tilt to an angle, IPS would do, Also if you can confirm that the Sub-Pixels are placed horizontally as opposed to vertically, it would be the overall best in all angles.

Secondly, talking about power consumption, how much do you think I'll be spending on the electricity bill for this TV monthly (pre-paid metre user)? Thirdly, is this TV indeed Smart when it comes to being a SMART TV?
Hisense A6 are a line up of entry level smart TV, A6H for instance lacks the Quantum layer (it's LED) but they are smart TVs featuring either google TV or Vidaa OS. Speaking about NanoCell (LG), the story is not as simple. The LG Nano76 & Nano78 series have a VA panel for their 50" and 70" models. And it's delicate to find a good review because sometimes they test different sizes so the results are not relevant (IPS panel).

We have a LG 55UJ6309 from 2017 with Direct LED. After 4 years, the screen has a blue tint and clouding everywhere, it looks horrible. The LEDs are corrupt. To anybody that reads this I’d love feedback from any. Today I caved and bought a 58” Hisense Quantum ULED for $379.99 I am almost certain I got it for a great deal. But I was really looking for the best quality picture out there. I thought I was getting that with ULED. This video made me question a little… should I have gone OLED instead?? What do you guys think? Did I get a good deal? Is it a quality TV? Will it be better than my UHD i currently have? Thanks I’m advance for any responses on my situation ❤️
Good video and winner is QLED, it has batter brightness and contras, whereas OLED actually it has no logic, shutting off black colors in that case tv it self doesn’t know when need to shut off bulbs ? And why should shut off ? Bcoz if you want to see something then something must be there and it must be seen! even if you want to see night t v must show you night by turning on bulbs which OLED doesn’t. actually it’s flop idea, and still asking more money. it’s only good to see tv display Random screen saver, but in movie or any programs why should we shut some of the portion of tv ? Which OLED does. At one comparison I could not see the dark wall in picture in OLED tv! whereas QLED showed it, it means we can’t see real pictures, we are missing ! For now QLED is winner.
I got myself a QLED LG TV. Unfortunately I am disappointed in the term of brightness as the 75' doesnt seem to be as bright as my parents 65' Prism+ LED TV.

The Lg nanocell 85 series won me over with it's hdmi 2.1 & 2.1earc future proofed inputs costing less than $650 for the 49'in model back in 2020.
Great information thanks!
What a great video! Some improvements you could do in your videos (by my personal judgement) are to (1) lower sound music (2) use sound editing on your voice (3) split video in chapters (for example "Led introduction" , "QLED Introduction" etc for easier navigation. Welcome to RUclips!
Thanks for the tips!
everything i wanted to know delivered perfectly
Thanks bro..
Oled is the best hands down. No burn in unless you watch the news to much. In that case you deserve it…
According to the Closed Captioning, when you say pixel, it thinks you are saying "PIG CELL" LOL
😂
@hardware_house that was at 0:10, but later in the video it shows pixel properly.
Someone should do a compilation video of closed captioning gone wrong, hahaha
AMAZINGLY DETAILED VIDEO! THANK YOU!
Thank you... 🌟♥️⚡⚡💪
I own a Vizio E-551d_AO LED. It is 3D capable and Smart and 55 inches. While it might not have the incredible picture quality of today's TV's, I have run a PlayStation, Desktop PC and cable on it for 10 years and the picture is as good today as it was when I bought it. I think I got my money's worth and that's why my next one will probably be a Vizio, even if I have to pay a bit more.
Fantastic detailing... Loved the video
😇🤠🔥...
You Deserve an Honorary Military POB .. Good Job (pat on back)
🎉 God bless Mate, your did a lovely explanation.
Hisense U8H in my opinion is the best LED tv on the market. Not to mention cheap! Get you a Apple TV to go with it because of the savings and your welcome!
I think that the Samsung S95B is the best TV right now, in my opinion ofcourse.
Thank you! An excellent and very informative. Thank you
💪😇🤠🔥🔥
great content please next time reduce the background sound volume
We have a LG 55UJ6309 from 2017 with Direct LED. After 4 years, the screen has a blue tint and clouding everywhere, it looks horrible. The LEDs are corrupt. Can someone help me identify what technology definitely will not cause the exact same problem in a few years? Or which of them is less likely to? I don't want an OLED because of the hassle with usage.
Thanks so much in advance. I've been looking for months.
Not Bad Brother - a good review. Keep it up - Atomic Habits
😇🤠
Do the OLED supprts 3D
Finally an informative video without crappy marketing. Ty so much.
Thanks... 🔊⚡
Subscribed! Because this is good
I wil aprprecaitw a review of Samsung AU7002”50 UHD. If it’s a good buy
Such great video ., I like the way you explain the even little things
But you forget The main point ., the colour gamut range dci-p3 & the sRGB , those are the most important things on those tvs
And also the refresh rate that can go
@hardware house please what's the different btw UHD tv and OLED tv please explain
OLED is organic light emitting diode and is a type of screen lighting technology..
UHD is ultra high definition and is a type of screen resolution which can be 4k or 8k.
We have videos explaining both and the best one for you...
Here is a video to help you ruclips.net/video/XqkugfT3v_s/видео.html
@@hardware_house thanks i will watch the video please which is the best i can go for please uhd or oled since is not the same
Most OLED are UHD..
Great content; however, music was annoying and too loud. Music was competing with your voice in volume.
Beautiful observation... Fixing it ASAP! 💪⚡♥️
Im so confused, what would be my best option? I have a bright room with windows and our set up is side angle tv watching ? Please help 65 inch
Any QLED TV with mini LED backlighting would be ok provided it handles reflections well. Consider the Hisense U8N
@@hardware_house , thank you sir !! i will do my research and convince the wife that the HISENSE isnt a bad brand
Best review I have ever seen 🎉
🔥🤠😇
What of Amani smart TVs?
To anybody that reads this I’d love feedback from any. Today I caved and bought a 58” Hisense Quantum ULED for $379.99 I am almost certain I got it for a great deal. But I was really looking for the best quality picture out there. I thought I was getting that with ULED. This video made me question a little… should I have gone OLED instead?? What do you guys think? Did I get a good deal? Is it a quality TV? Will it be better than my UHD i currently have? Thanks I’m advance for any responses on my situation ❤️
How is it to have u led is is better Qled?
Which one best closer to Oled picture
Qled,Uled,Nanocell
Check for a ULED or QLED TV that features MiniLED backlighting, You can also checkout LG QNED series. Goodluck.
Brilliant video, thank you
The issue on ground now is blank screen with sound in Hisense qled after three years
Might be a damaged LED driver for the backlight
thanks for the vid. told me exactly what i needed to know.
You're very welcome 🤠😇
Great video!!! Nice one bros! Very educational.....
Super thanks⚡💪🔥
Burn in? I saw this one with CRT display, not since.
GOOD REVIEW BRO. WELL EXPLANIED
Who else came here to make sure their OLED is still king? Lol
🤠😇
I got myself a QLED LG TV. Unfortunately I am disappointed in the term of brightness as the 75' doesnt seem to be as bright as my parents 65' Prism+ LED TV.
Thanks for the feedback... 💪🔥🤠
