    I own couple of Hisense from 42 inch and 65 inch for years and absolutely a very good TV. This brand is not well known for others but I'm telling you, this will amaze you how it performs compared to other popular brands like Sony, Samsung, LG, and others out there. 8 years straight and never give me a problem.

    Bought this tv yesterday at Bestbuy: $650, 5 years warranty, for a 55' tv. I barely watch tv or movies, so I think this is perfect for me. It won't break my wallet.

      Never got the tv. Best Buy couldn’t deliver. Sold it to me on 11/30 and was supposed to be delivered on 12/13. Pushed back delivery to the 21st and then again the 24th. Then canceled altogether. Ended up with a TCL 5 series S546. I like it so far but have already ran into some bugs with the google OS. Dropped signal of Wi-Fi and a few other quirks. ( Within the 1st hour) It is a nice tv for the price though. Far better than the LG nanocell that I returned earlier in the year. That thing was trash, with blooming and light bleeding everywhere.

    The handles are not for lifting. They are for stabilising the top of the tv with your off hand while you lift from the bottom. Just like you did when you raised it up to the stand. Some people may not have the reach to hold the bottom and top of the screen at the same time.

    I own the Hisense 55” U8G and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised on how it performed. I didn’t really know much about Hisense so I was a bit skeptical on how it’d do but the colors are amazing and it’s really bright. I just purchased the 85” version for my living room and cannot wait to see it in action.

    • @villafontananorte
      @villafontananorte Год назад +1

      I ended returning the U8H tv and there 3 reasons: 1) Google recognized the tv as U7H even tho the design is U8H. 2) The main menu is a little but blurry and no crispy. 3) I feel the configuration options didn't make too much difference after making the adjustment. In my opinion, you can pay a little extra and get an OLED tv instead of the U8H.

    SO we just got the LG 86UQ75. At first I liked the TV in during the day but at night its horrendous. It looks like theres a film of light over the screen and the dark areas are just too dark. Think of the big screen tvs back in the 90's. It looks terrible on darker shows and movies, like Kenobi. I noticed you reviewed that tv, I am thinking of swapping the LG out for this Hisense. Do you think this Hisense has a better picture than the LG 86UQ75?
    Edit: Update, exchanged the LG86UQ75 for the U7H and oooohhhh boy what a difference! This TV is fantastic for the price! If you are looking for a budget big size tv 75 or 85, definitely go with the U7H while its still available. green on all categories!!!

Hisense are maybe the top TV makers and sellers in China or they are in the top 2, they sell 10s of millions, and guess what! you will hardly find one dumped in the street. Not like many big brand names. scattered around the UK/Ireland amenity centres. Sometimes you need to change and try something new. As for me, well I bought a Christmas gift for my grandson. A 45" for his bedroom for his plug and play games, his 2 year old Toshiba was way out dated.

    Mate you are one lucky bugger. For future reference NEVER lie an 85 or bigger on their side. Literally NEVER do this. Every other size below 75 is generally ok, but the failure rate of the 85s is massive because of this. They need to be upright. The way I did mine was I left it in the box, lifted one end, lied on my back screwed one leg on, then cut away the foam, lowered it, then did the other leg. I was told this multiple times by the shop and the delivery guys.

    It’s great, but research shows there might be burn in more than other TVs. You just might consider the time used. Everyone is different and research by cnet or reliable credible experts also is a factor

      @stefanb974 Год назад +1

      @@josealfredotorresreyes8223 for the price you can't beat it. I have a room with a good amount of natural light. This tv has zero issues. It gets very bright. My only issue with it as it stands right now is that low bit stuff doesn't look good. It looks ok but this tv lacks processing power. There is also a audio delay when I'm using my earc sound system. Gaming looks awesome along with streaming stuff. All in all I give it a solid 8/10.

    I bought the Samsung Qled that was comparable to this but was $2400 on the cost but i got it for $1150 2nd hand as i wanted a good brand im sure the Hisense has good pic quality but the longevity of these Hisense and TCL are horrible! i wanted a tv that would last 10+ years! TCLs u be lucky to get 5 years out them and Hisense seems to be around the same! i pickup broken tvs for free all the time and repair them and part them out! and TCL always has LED issues and when 1 lcd bulb goes' out it will shut down all the backlights! i have a 55" Hisense that had the same issue and people will just throw away the TV. I was able to fix them for cheap and resold them but there such cheap tvs its not really worth repairing them unless u have the know how to do so. I would not recommend a Hisense or TCL or Onn tv unless you just want something that is cheap cheap that u can just throw away after a few years! My self i always went with Samsung TVs they are the best of the best in my book! My 75" i bought it in 2014 and its still working perfect and the "63 i had before that bought it in 2012 and sold it to my buddy and it still was working great. only downfall to the new samsungs is there making them harder to be able to pull the screen out with out damaging them to replace the leds which is design to fall! leds will burn out over time. my 85" i fear when the leds go out i wil not be able to replace them even though its a $50 part the screen is adhered into the frame making it almost impossible to remove with out cracking the screen!

      Just had a hisense 85 broke down last week, gone in 2 years, I will never buy another hisense again, junk tv, I had tvs older than a decade and still working, ordered an 85 samsung qn90 today

    • @1999tacotrd
      @1999tacotrd Год назад

      @marialeignizanares7384 yeah Samsungs are the way to go if your looking for one to last. My samsung plasma I had lasted over a decade. Hisense TVs are a budget tv and don't last long at all. If u get lucky maybe one of the boards went out. But if the screen just went black then chances are a led went out! And is very difficult to replace. And the thing about the budget TVs is 1 little led diod gose out it will stop all the other 100 leds from working! It's planed obslance at the finest. The high end tvs they will still work even if leds are failing. They all will fail over time cause leds burn out just like a light bulb.

      @dangarnica9778 15 years old that's why. All the new tcls crap out fast 2017 and 18 models will crap put 2 to 3 years. Well the tv works fine the leds burn out causing it not to light up. If u fill like pulling the display out and changing the leds then it will last for a few more years. But getting the lcd out with out breaking it is almost impossible especially if your average joe.
