Yum yum!!! I am going to make these for church fellowship. Thank you!!!
nice...looks good
OMG...the best fritters ever. Thank you for showing me the technique. so cool using my fingers to drop the mixture in the oil and they came out perfectly shaped soft and delish. I used 1 tsp baking powder instead of the yeast and date powder instead of sugar.
I love bananas, I may try these! They look great!
We do that here in Jamaica 😊 but without the yeast
I like is we have lots in common food and culture
Hmm by the way I may be born in Jamaica but I am also a Africa 👍🏿👌🏿💯
Nice video my friend 👍
so good!!! My husband will love these!!
I love eat
Hello dear virtual friend, uprated this and love it -- thank you so much! I find bananas fattening & boring, but love overripe ones sometimes for recipes. I get intimidated by frying so your low-tech methods are a joy to me, as well as your sunny smile and positive attitude. I find that with yeast, metal utensils can kill it. I like working with glass and wood a lot in the kitchen! Stainless steel can really work against eggs, too. I send you a wish for GOOD LUCK. xo from France
Awesome recipe im gonna try!
great.....i like your video
nice one
Just made some. Super good I added coco powder.
Shaneka Williams Huh sound delicious with coco powder.
This recipe looks yummy, must try
I am overwhelmed and happy to see your recipe Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I want to know about How many types of recipes can you make with bananas in Africa and if you could tell me a few names that are famous and healthy for me, would you give me your email address as well?I will try to learn from you about Africa's famous pardon and try to learn from you, thank you again from the bottom of my heart
You have an interesting username! I often get intimidated by frying and sometimes fail. I have to find the right utensils & pay attention to what works -- this is good common sense, but really, I seem to have to apply myself a bit more for frying. Almost everyone really appreciates fried things, and "in moderation" I find they bring a lot of smiles! Good luck to you and if your yeast isn't bubbling, try adding a pinch of sugar to be sure it's still alive!
Hello, I am from Malaysia. We also have something similar in my country and they are called Jemput Pisang or Cecodok Pisang. It is one of our favorite traditional snack. Thanks for sharing your videos.

Subscribe to my RUclips channel 😅 for more Indian recipes ☺️
That is a really neat recipe! Plus Kadi's intro was so adorable!
This lady uses low-tech methods, and the old joselite2006 channel is still running, though never added to anymore, unfortunately. That lady also uses a very small, simple kitchen and taught me how to tempura vegetables very well -- This kadirecipes channel has helped me learn much more about African cooking, which is hugely varied, as that is the world's biggest continent really. I live in a highly mixed city, also & all the ingredients, I don't often understand at all!

I find one should never mix yeast to be ready with anything metallic. Use glass, wood, your hands. A pinch of sugar or a drop of milk can feed it to bloom more quickly. I think if you did not use the yeast here, you'd need baking soda and a pinch of salt but it just wouldn't be "alive."
I think a little warm milk could be a good yeast starter to this in general. I have a very drafty kitchen and not much success with yeasts unless I kind of baby them, ha ha!! Also, putting metal utensils into yeast blends ruins them, I find. I have to use wood, glass or even plastic!!
Hello, if you have bananas that are ripen, and frozen then take out and thaw can you use in this recipe ?
I would like to try but prefer not to use yeast.
The yeast isn't a must. You can omit it if you want.
Yum just made these today. Sister you should make an Instagram account so we can share pictures with you :)
how long did you let them rise w the yeast? is the recipe on the video?
What's the point of the yeast? It is really necessary?
Hi
Can I skip the yeast
Thank you
what kind of sugar did you use?
Use extra virgin olive oil , works the best every time !
+patience melason its unhealthy to deep fry with olive oil. olive oil should never be put on high heat. coconut oil would be a better choice
Hi. Yesterday we had some African women make something similar to this for us at church. I believe it was called "cluck clu" or similar. Hers was not sweet. It also had ground onion. She prepared a sauce with tomato and jalapeno to go with it. Do you know what this may be? I'd really like to replicate it. Thank you.
Maybe koose? also called Akara. Consists of black eyed beans, onions and pepper and is deep fried.
Hello I would like to sell this on a festival. Does someone knows if you have to serve them hot?
They taste better when they are warm not too hot.
