You can turn off the car until all the lights are off on the dash. Put your feet on the brake and pull the brake release lever on the console , start the car and toggle the lever as soon as you see the display characters where you saw the Parkbrake Fault. This will reset the parkbrake. You may have to repeat it until you get a feel for doing it. I have been doing this for approx. 3 yrs now.

Found was happening only when the battery was low, every time was related to low battery. Headlight on without engine, Radio on without engine, even a cold day can effect. MIGHT be that some of the modules don't like low voltages, replaced the battery and have not had issues since, only time will tell............

I had the same problem it was the throttle position sensor

I’ve replaced my tps twice and still says it and still says THROTTLE POSITION and no other codes idk bs car and a pos

hold the brake fully and hold the parking brake for 3 seconds and then up, if it does not work, turn off the terminals of the manual module and install
