Can you recommend a supplier for the materials needed to get started please? Also who were the chanters you were listening to. I am very rough on brushes and due to the lack of time I have in my life I fail to clean them as I should. I usually buy very low priced brush packs so I can always have a sharp new brush and I don’t have to fiddle with shaping an old worn out brush. Egg tempera is a different matter though. I use expensive synthetic kolinsky and squirrel and I do my best to take care of those. “Ultra long” or “sharp long” round brushes are best if you can find them as well.
You call it a study. I call it a masterpiece.
