I appreciate your videos because they are extremely informative, and you seem to handle the issues that arise with complete integrity. Knowing that it's frustrating but, also that things do just happen sometimes. The take way for me is that the customer service as you stressed several times is impeccable. Thanks again you guys are great.

Hi folks. I’m in NB nor far from Sussex. I purchased a WM HM 126 10 yr anniversary model, so 2020 I believe. I received all the parts that were to come with the mill. I had the reverse problem in that I threw blades when I torqued the t handle. When I used the flush method I have not thrown a blade in the last three years. Sorry you had so many issues with the shipping and quality. Mine has been great and no issues to comment on. Thanks for the video and best of luck.

Thanks Brad and welcome to Creekside. Appreciate the comment. Great to hear from another NB friend. Our mill works great now and Woodland was very good at solving all the issues. I’ve got over 300 hours on it now. I torque my blades by hand now. 2.5 turns after it it is two finger tight. Works every time. Have a great weekend

I have a harbor freight and had very little problems with setting it up and running it for 5 years ...a friend of mine purchased the hm 126 and had lots of problems to but woodlands mills has the best customer care and took care of him to... even though I haven't had any problems with my harbor freight I tell everyone to get the woodlands mill... the hm 122 is relatively the same cost and even with their initial problems it's a better saw

I just found your video and I want to thank you for taking time to share your thoughts.
You have made me feel a little better about all of the missing parts on my sawmill, I am in the process of assembling my Norwood LM30 and I am totally frustrated with them. The first problem was the owner's manual and assembly instructions were in a language that I could not read when I know I had to specify that I read English. Then when I began assembly last weekend I was missing two leveling feet, the water tank cap and tether and an entire box of parts.
Unfortunately Norwoods customer service is not even close to being as good as you stated Woodland Mill's is, the only communication with them is email and it takes four days just to get a question answered. They did finally tell me that they are sending the missing parts and that they will email me when the parts ship but did not give any indication as to how long that will be.
One thing I will give them credit for is all of their parts and bolts are precisely labeled and the assembly instructions are very detailed. I wish Woodland Mill's could follow that example for your sake.
I had been regretting not getting a WM but your video taught me that apparently every company has their issues.
One of these days I will hopefully be sawing my own lumber and all of this will seem to be worth it.
    Thanks again.

Thanks Scott. Appreciate your great comments. I always try to give balanced insights, the good the bad and the ugly. I think every sawmill has its perks and imperfections. We have to work with what we get and sometimes that can be very frustrating for sure. I do appreciate WM's customers service. It is the best out there. Enjoy your mill and have fun. Let's stay in touch my new friend.

A good foundation for everything is so important. I haven't received my mill yet but I also cemented 4x4 in the ground well below frost line with 1 ft above ground , then 4x4 across the top of them and 2x6 on top of the horizontal 4x4's. So my adjusting feet will mount on the 2x6.

Unlike other companies that are out to push an sell you the product then now becomes your own problem from the moment it reaches your hands. Woodland at least seems to hold up their product to rectifies any issues the customer has. Glad you now at least have your mill up and running. really sorry to hear your troubles with the new HM126. I have the Older model HM126 that i got in 2012 and let me tell you.... i have had no major issue with mine other than having to change the tensiooning bearings . i mill about 1000 bft a month with it and it has paid for itself 10 teimes over. I'm actually looking to upgrade my HM126 with the 9.5 to one just like your with a 14Hp and electric start. You will enjoy that mill, no doubt. Keep us updated on how your doing with it. Just as a side note... my budy has a Norwodd and let me tell you....support is not Woodlands mills support. woodland Mills has top notch support. i have called and written to them nany times for advise and adjustment and they are a pleasure to work with. I believe it says you should compare the tensioning device with a torque wrench. Once you get the band to proper tension check where the tension indicator is. So many people use too much lubrication. Supposed to be 1-2 drops per second. That's all.

That's why I never order on a friday lol. Seriously though I hope they have resolved these issues because I just ordered one and I really don't want to be on hold every day trying to get issues resolved. I'm not as patient as you. I greatly appreciate the videos you have done and especially the little odd things that would've costed me more time trying to figure out how it goes. Labeling the packages of bolts would be great. I'll do something like make a quick guide on a piece of wood with a scale so I align the bolts to it for reference.

A good video however you are talking like woodland mills can actually do design changes, no they can't. Not bashing your video, it was very good and an honest review.

I appreciate your thoughts. I thank you for keeping them kind. However, it was Woodland Mills who informed me that even though product is assembled in China, they still have creativity and design authority to modify and change whatever they want. In one conversation I had with Woodland and I will quote them, “ We are working on an upgrade for the handle and bearing that raises and lowers the head” end of quote. That is all I can comment on or allude to. I don’t know if that changes anything or not. I’m simply stating what I was told directly from the company. My initial hesitation in buying from Woodland was the Chinese assembly. They assured me that though it is assembled in China it is still very much a product made in Canada/ US. Hopefully, I was not mislead. Thanks again for the input.

One should not have to redesign parts or guess at the assembly, wait for replacement parts or hope for an upgrade kit; life is too short.
