    I was about to run and grab one of these at Home Depot (they call it "sleeve puller") but I tried putting the old fitting back on loosely, and wiggled it a bit while pulling. It worked!

    Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video. I wanted to ask you how much do you have to turn for the final tightening of the nut. Is it a quarter turn or a half turn.

      Hello Richard,
      The old angle valve nut to the tool? You want at least a couple turns so it has a good grab. When you turn the tool handle, it is pulling the valve nut, bringing the sleeve at the same time.

      Hello Richard as hard as you can.
      All the way. tight! ( just using hand wrenches) AS you tighten it is going to compress the sleeve and make a positive seal. If is loose it will leak or the water pressure will pop it out. Thanks

    This tool you used is listed on amazon as being 15mm to 22mm is that the correct tool for this half inch copper pipe and fitting? need to know before I purchase it if it will fit all my standard sink and toilet valves I need to replace. thanks

      Hello Ramon In US most sink, vanities and toilets supply lines are 1/2 copper,
      This tool is only for 1/2 and 3/4 copper pipes.
      Imperial sizes are measured using the approximated bore diameter, for instance the outside diameter of 1/2 copper is about 15mm and 3/4 is about 22mm. Let me know how it goes.
