I’m a teen and did a protein treatment on my low porosity hair. 3c-4a I didn’t do much research and my hair has been shedding, brittle, and breaking 3 months and now it’s kinda thin :( I miss my hair so much But now i’m trying to make it better. I like this video a lot. I didn’t stop using products with protein till a month later but with the new product but I don’t see much improvement so i’m going to try 2 new more based on the video. Tysm ❤
I was wondering if i can use this product: As I am So Much Moisture. Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Glycerin, Aloe barbadensis leaf extract, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, erythrobic acid, citric acid, royal jelly, glucose, lavender flower extract, phenoxyethanol, equisetum arvense extract, urtica dioica (nettle) extract, sage leaf extract, grape fruit seed extract, cetyle alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, sodium chloride, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, fragrance/parfum (limonene), dimethyl stearamine
I start with warm water with then on to Camille honey hydrate my hair loves it then African pride moisture miracle with coconut oil and baobab oil finishing with rosemary oil
Thank you so much for this video. I already use the Camille Rose honey and some of the other products you mentioned but after struggling for months with trying to figure out hair seemed to stop growing I discovered that I have type 3b and 3c hair and it’s low porosity. To make it even sadder is the fact that there aren’t many people posting videos for low porosity hair .
Hi there! I’m not familiar with either of these products, so I can’t comment on how they work ☹️ sorry about that! I hope you can get more info from trial & error 💕
As for as LCO combination goes could I use a leave-in , hair milk , then oil ? I know low porosity doesn’t really like heavy products. Which is why my hair never flourished years ago 🥴
Hey my hairs are frizzy, dry, curly, respond well to protein, becomes dry when washed with Luke warm water but when I did porosity test they turn out be be low porosity. I am in dilemma what should I do?? Should I opt for low porosity techniques or high porosity? Please help.
Oh thank you so much for taking your time to reply but my hair floats on the surface of water for 5-6 hours and do not sink at all. Any other test you would recommend?
God bless you girl. Very informative. Makes sense to moisturize right after washing rather than waiting for it to dry as I always do🙂 imma try this
My hair LOVES the Camille honey hydrate!

It could work! Especially if the hair milk is thicker than the leave-in. Let me know how it works for you I’m curious now 👀 lol
So, with low porosity hair, is it recommended to rinse with cool water?
Not usually. It's actually better to apply your hair products while your hair is still warm so rinsing it will close the cuticle too soon.
Informative video 🙏
My hair is low porosity , so what about when I moisturize and seal then the next morning it’s dry again or almost
There’s so many factors! In my experience, this has happened to me when my leave-in isn’t moisturizing enough or my sealant isn’t heavy enough
I’m like please help me. 😂 this product is just sitting on my hair
It was like that when I used wrong products on my hair and also not using heat,I now use lighter products with heat,

And also they break easily but tested low porosity 😭
Sounds like you have medium porosity hair! I don’t have much experience with this type of porosity, but I feel like you can take tips from either one
Oh thank you so much for taking your time to reply but my hair floats on the surface of water for 5-6 hours and do not sink at all. Any other test you would recommend?
to me it kinda sounds like you have product buildup! try a good clarifying cleanser and double cleanse every once in a while
Is low porosity hair usually thin?
High porosity hair is usually thin, but low porosity can be too! It's hard to generalize things like that because hair density is partly genetic.
I have low porosity hair and my hair is soft after I use products with protein
Interesting! I’m glad you found what your hair likes
Actually proteins aren't bad for our hair,
How's coconut oil?
Not good at all
