Today I have for you a review of the Official Original Oneplus Screen Protector for the Oneplus 8T. I have to say that I am surprised that they did not put a glass proctor out of the box, but I am happy that we have an option at least. we also have all the original official cases from oneplus for the 8T. this will work with the 8t t-mobile edition and the unlocked model. Never remove and reapply glass protector for 99% will be ruined and more dust will be sticking on it. Best way to apply any protector its in the bathroom after you use hot shower for 5 min all dust in the air will be trap on the small water droplets and fall on the floor. 2nd option its to use some spray bottle wit very fine nozzle and spray all room from highest point as possible then leave 1min to settle. No more dust when applying protector. Good video thanks.
no way im doing all that work to just apply a screen protector. i'd rather use my phone in original form, without any screen protector but with just a case

Actually I did it with the same protector and the same phone, and I unsticked it and sticked it back 3 times until it went perfectly.
Even if gets dirt on the sticky side you can clean it in many ways.
Mine is now perfectly fitted, no bubbles whatever.

It looks like a really nice first party screen protector. Although, I chose to go with a third party screen protector and camera module protector. Luiber makes the one that I chose and it fits flawlessly. Moreover, they give you three tempered glass screen protectors with three camera module protectors in the box. That's pretty handy for someone like me that tends to break screen protectors every few months. I really love the look of the OnePlus cases they are very attractive. My only real concern with them is that they really do not look like they have much shock protection. They kind of look like hard shells that snap onto your phone and when you are dealing with minor amounts of friction it seems to me they could damage the finish of your phone. If one plus would just put a thin layer of TPU inside the case it would offer a lot more protection in my opinion. After trying several cases I decided to go with the Spigen tough armor case. It has an inner layer of TPU that stretches around the phone accompanied by hard shell that snaps on over the top. I really feel that it offers a lot more protection and I feel like my phone will survive an inevitable fall.

Mine came with the phone, it looks nice but there's no grip and it's too bulky.
Just a tip, when you Peel off the skin hold the tempered glass sticky part face down. That part can also collect dust.

I will never understand why they have to make these black boarders...would Look much better without, and it could probably be a bit cheaper aswell
So the black outlining doesn't cover the display? Excuse me but, do you need a pair of glasses to see that it covers a major part of the display?
Which case is best for protection
my issue is even with a case it seems slightest drop breaks the oneplus protectors. I had this same issue with my 5t and 6t, meaning me and my clumsy self breaks them with just 2 foot drops from my pocket at my desk or off my desktop.

You can save a lot of headache by leaving the plastic screen protector on until the very last second. The dust be everywhere

I got this screen protector cause 1st I bought a cheap one and the fingerprint scanner didn't work with it. The official screen protector went on fine and the fingerprint scanner works but unfortunately only a day after applying I got a crack across the bottom corner and I have no clue how it happened but it's disappointing considering price.
Same, crack on upper right margin/ corner. I think with glass protector, there is always this risk. But i think 1200 is bit too much every few months or so.

yes, it does, the green dot is there. The round circling is a bit obscured by the black circle around the camera, but it is visible..

For all those asking - YES, it is compatible with ANY bloody case, it adds less than 1mm in thickness of the phone and it does not exceed the lateral size of the phone! Of course any case will fit. Someone who didn't see the phone without the screen protector will not even notice it. The actual thickness is 0.6mm.
Hello, how are you? Is there a hole in the camera location?
I bought this glass protector and no there isn't a hole around the front facing camera. However there is a black ring around the camera on the glass protector. The surface around the camera is seamless and completely flat.

@Anup Madankar they can't, because not fit well on curved screen, and they know this issue exactly, it is very difficult to implement
@Anup Madankar yeah, i put on original one, and every original glass have a black edges, unfortunately, but the feels premium on the phone
@Anup Madankar No sight is bad, of the curved edges by the way, It's just not compatible well some of cases, misstouch, and the glass protectors
@Anup Madankar yeah, thats why avoid the curved edges, most of people facing some of issues with curved edges, but not everyone, i have a big hands and i really struggling with the typing/handle on these phones, never ever curved again

I bought this glass protector the other day, it's very nice! However I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to put that black ring around the camera. What is the purpose of that? It just adds a bit of a distracting effect on the screen. Very terrible design there. It's completely unnecessary. But the surface is great

@@manoy8747 the outer perimeter of it does a tiny bit. I guess a better way to put it, you would have to look for it to notice. The camera black ring though, depending on how well you placed the protector you might notice it. Overall, the glass protector's surface is amazing though. It honestly really doesn't feel like there is nothing at all. So 5 stars there for it's surface quality. Am I happy with it? I mean I really wish they wouldn't have put any black around this at all, but the surface quality I feel makes up for it. The finger print scanner works amazing and so do all the touch areas. Extremely responsive. Let me know if you do get it for the 8T or if you find another one you like please. I hope this helped and thanks
Brand OnePlus is not at all reliable. They don't provide accessories support for their older model. I have OP6 and looking for OnePlus tempered glass and it is always showing out of stock..
Maybe that speck of dust was because at 3:48 you had the sticky part facing up for a minute smfh

Don't buy, poor quality, bubbles around the edges like it doesn't have enough glue. You may be lucky with a good one but the price doesn't worth the risk

Lmao. The screen gaurd which comes applied on the device is the best. Never going to remove it.

the quality of the screen protector is poor at best. It cracks at the lightest of drops, even if your phones lands on a considerably soft surface. Buyer beware!
