Great video, Karen! I thought the last one was the best one yet, but this one surpasses even that one! Thanks for introducing me to Ruben DaCollector's channel as well. I just checked out a few of his videos and I see he goes in depth with the chat and makes the live viewers a part of the show by interacting with them as much as he interacts with his friends in the studio, which is really fun! I also noticed he jokes around a lot with the viewers and neither he nor they are afraid to make fun of one another, which is SO cool! He even cut off his guest, Lee, in the latest episode to tell him he's about to make fun of him because of something Lee had said.😮 You better be on on your best behaviour, lest he rake you over the coals this Sunday. Can't wait, see you then! 🤪
Rubén is not going to rake me over the coals. Who is he, Ursula?🐙 It has taken him an entire year to find a woman who collects original art🦄that is willing to be a guest on his show; it would be a shame if he was mean to her. See you Sunday! 😁
@@KarensPages Great content, I just subscribed! I don't do too much social media but I saw your comment and thought I should reply. I know Rubén very well. He gave so much of his time to me when I was first starting out in the hobby and expected nothing in return. He is hands down, the nicest, most generous person I've ever encountered in this hobby (maybe in all my life!) and I've met a lot of people, so that really speaks volumes of the man's character. I was just a new collector but am proud to call him my friend of over 20 years now. You should count yourself extremely fortunate if he did even 10% for you what he did for me.
Btw, I saw you actually took a minute to personally thank him in one of your videos & you seemed genuinely emotional about it, so clearly you must already think he's as amazing a person as I do. I can honestly say that Rubén is the type of person who would never be mean to anyone unless they wronged him in some way first. So as long as YOU behave, I can guarantee he'll be super cool with you and if it really did take as long as you say it did for him to find a woman to be a guest, it's not for a lack of effort on his part. If you're lucky enough to get to know him even a little bit, you'll be a better person for it. And if you like movies, he has the uncanny ability to give the best suggestions. If he says he thinks you'll love it, then you will most likely love it. If he says something isn't very good, he's pretty much spot on with those as well. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE all your videos so far and I look forward to future content!

@@KarensPages Thanks, Karen! I majored in creative writing (Journalism minor) before the siren call of the stage called to me. I guess it was worth it if I'm being complimented on it in the comments section on RUclips all these years later!
