    I ordered both shapes. When I flash cure each nail, I flip my lamp on its side (remove bottom if your lamp has one), turn the lamp slightly away so the light isn't facing you, turn lamp on, and then cure while holding the nail in place. That's how I have both hands available to cure. (Hope this makes sense lol)

      @GabrielleEther 5 лет назад +1

      Hi..idk if Im understanding the reason for the "flash cure" or why it's called that. Why not just put your hand in the lamp for a couple of secs?? Im just asking bc Im trying to understand so I can do this also.

    • @bryrayne9666
      @bryrayne9666 5 лет назад +1

      @@GabrielleEther flash curing helps to hold the nail in place before you do a full cure. It's to ensure that the nail won't pop off while your applying the others.

    Just ordered the beige coffins. Only thing, I can’t wear my nails that long (work on a computer all day) and I know once I cut them back, they will be square. I guess I can just re-shape them, but kinda defeats the purpose of buying coffins. I wear mine shorter, but long enough to make a coffin shape. I’d like to see the shapes in a more workable length for folks like me already in the desired shape so you only have to apply them and go. Can’t wait to try them though.

    • @Babygirlnails
      @Babygirlnails  5 лет назад

      Lisa Palmiero I agree. The Apres gel x has the shorter ones. Those are nice as well. Just more pricey.

      Lisa Palmiero , I ordered nude coffins as well, and still waiting on mine (hasn’t even been a full week yet, just excited!) I don’t wear long coffins like these either but it will be really nice to have the option, and if any of my friends want long coffin nails, I’ll already have these in my arsenal. I’ve been toying with the idea of something like this for a while because I get bored with my designs after a week of wear and it will be nice to be able to have the strength of gel but not need to reapply acrylic each time. Makes you wonder why his (enail couture) are so much cheaper than Apres, though??!!

    • @Babygirlnails

      also, if you don't like being able to see the lip of excess product at the free edge, you can flip your nail upside down and fill it with no wipe top coat to kinda camouflage it. Technically could use whatever you like, especially if you want more strength. Just some stuff I've messed around with while practicing and wanted to share ♥️

    • @Babygirlnails
      @Babygirlnails  5 лет назад

      Okay, all you need to do to build strength is add a few thin layers of a soak off builder gel over your design. So your not only adding strength but you are also encapsulating your design. It's a win win and they will last until you wanna fill them or take them off. The Apres are a bit thicker but not much. I absolutely love them both!!! I would say the Apres is stronger as far as the gel tips are made. Other than that, they are both worth it.

    I put on a set of these with all E Nail Couture products and no heat spikes and they look great! I trimmed mine shorter and after one week they are so solid I'm think I am just going to do a fill when they grow out and keep them on awhile. I didn't do anything to strengthen them just a gel polish glitter ombre design with a few gems and charms. I pulled weeds with no gloves to they got really dirty on the under sides and cleaned right up with no staining with a nail brush with soap and water. I used all E Nail Couture products for this mani and just followed one of Max Estrada's youtube tutorials. Boy do I love their products. I'm not a nail tech just a person with no training at all and my mani looks better then anything coming out of any salon in my area! You can see pics on my Instagram @stweedpics

      I etched the inside with a nail drill and buffed all the shine off my natural nails. Then applied the base gel to my natural nails and cured for 60 seconds. Then applied base gel to the 1 2 3 go nail, rocked them onto the natural nail, held it firmly in place for a flash cure of about 10 seconds so no air bubbles, then cured for 90 seconds just to be sure. Their on so securely I went and bought a acetone steamer gel remover machine because I think I'll need a jackhammer otherwise to get them off! lol

      Yeah, I'm sure since I've accidentally cured in the sun before 😂. Cures are longer I'd assume. Jamie probably can tell you. I know the mini Pink lamps start at 45 seconds minimum. I'd just cure until it's nice n hard...can test cure on a wax paper, form paper, pop up after so long see if "gooey" under if so needs more time. Easy way I check my lamp every few months. @@Babygirlnails One finger is bend and the other two are half way gone missing the knuckle. I had an accident years ago. My fault. I may not be a Vietnam or Iraqi veteran w/ missing limbs but I hide my hand like I'm one. I love your rudy colored stone as well as the sapphire/cobalt stone and I've never seen a Claddagh ring with a turquoise colored stone. That's really unique.

      CMissShelleyMichelle Well your still beautiful no matter what you had to endure. My Aunt lost fingers in a auto crash years ago as well. I’m sorry you had to go through that. This body is only a shell so that we can live life here on earth. Someday you’ll have your fingers back.

      @@Babygirlnails that's what my Catholic/rosary praying Grandma who was very religious said. That our body was just a "shell" and that when we die we leave our shell behind but our soul lives on and goes to heaven. Thank you for that. ✊✌🙏 😇
