      I'll bet that's classified info and extremely difficult to reproduce without being affiliated with an electric car company. An electric power adder kinda feels like contamination on such a nice engine. And all-electric is flat-out uninteresting in comparison.

    • @Camhin1
      @Camhin1 5 лет назад +1

      @@NickKautz I'm sure it's classified, but Sasha isn't affiliated with an car electric company, he does work with a company that builds controllers and such. Also I don't think it would be a contamination as anything that makes a vehicle quicker is cool. Electric is the future.

    That’s quite impressive. Deserves a lot of respect. Especially in the days of turbo everything. Although my NA motor makes 700 horsepower, it does so with 9.4 liters at only 5200 rpm. But it has 500 ft lbs at 2800 rpm and 710 at 4700. But that’s just a mild 10:1 CR. Different strokes for different folks. Heh, literally.
    Sweet Nissan though

  • @N4CR5
    @N4CR5 5 лет назад +19

    This is how you build. Once you've experienced big NA power, you never go back. Turbos are fun but the real track weapons for sensitivity, longevity and reliability are high HP NA. End of story.
    I run a dry sump LS3 with a custom Kelford cam, touched up rotating assy, custom SS LT headers and 3" exhaust in a T56 mag S2K. I have owned many litre bikes before that too, so NA is where I prefer.

Now imagine a 4.2L at 500whp. I don’t get how this 350z would perform any differently? 500whp in a stock gutted 350z on tire would do a hella lot better than 11s no doubt. I don’t think I’m reaching if I say 10s either.

    • @LuisRamirez-zi1nf
      @LuisRamirez-zi1nf 5 лет назад +1

      sage sokol exactly. Everyone likes to bash and underestimate the Z/VQ platform when it comes to drag racing. It’s usually V8 guys too. Maybe it’s because that’s all they have? It’s not too often you’ll catch a muscle/pony car drifting, auto cross, touge, track etc. Upsets them when they see a 350z, (which could arguably do it all), drag racing and getting 12s with a stock v6 engine and tire while there’s modern 6MT V8s out there that struggle to even crack 12s on the track.
