    That kneeling one is also known as a reverse Nordic curl, which is basically the best exercise for the rector femoris, the one quad that doesn't really get trained well from squats. People often need to work up to being able to perform it freely, which is where bands or cable machines can help.

    Those hip hooks are so expensive, is there any alternatives you know of or do you just have to suck it up on the price?
