Abundantly enjoying watching this series & even more so being you incl'd a clip of Hanson @ YTV's Psyko Blast at which there was a world record achieved (then) for the loudest crowd registering 140 decibels; most concert attendants were screaming and simultaneously banging on the seats, hearing loss probably permanent but certainly was muffled for a few days following. Thanks for your work.

Really well done series! This is a weird request but has anyone found footage of the recording from when you'd get off a ride of the guy who also did the "and now your Feature Presentation" intros for Paramount forcefully saying "enjoy your day at PARAMOUNT Canada's Wonderland!" That often pops into my head when I hear about Wonderland but I can't find any proof it existed LOL

Thank god Paramount really brought the park up well, glad Cedar Fair continued where they left off, so we have the great park we have today minus the violence

As a Trekkie I was a fan of the Paramount theme. I used to go to the store on the south side of the fountain and look at all the Trek memorabilia for sale that I couldn't afford as a kid. I remember the theme song from various iterations of the show playing throughout the park.

Star Trek's relationship to this park deserves a closer look

I went as a kid in 88 and teen in 97. It was crazy how much it changed but at the time we all liked those changes. Sure it was sad to see things go but top gun was a great ride. Drop zone too. And by 97 not a lot of us cared about hanna barbara. Its a toss up between wishing the original everything was still there but also being greatfull for the new things that came later. 5 year old me loved the og wonderland. Teen me loved the paramount remake. Adult me wishes we could have both back at once.

As the kids of the 80s outgrew Viking's Rage, we wondered, what if it went upside down?

I have been so out of touch! I haven't been to Wonderland since the 1980s when, because of my mom's employment there, I had free access for much of the decade.

Nice! The only thing I liked while it was one’s by paramount was the movie themes and seeing characters walk around. The Vortex, Italian Job and a couple flat rides were the only good new ones. Top Gun and Tombraider are terrible!

Cedar Point in Ohio makes Canada's Wonderland look like a traveling fair.
