Horrible place! There’s so much more to the history of this wretched place. There’s nothing entertaining here unless you support animal cruelty. That park has been enjoyed by folks on the backs of all the helpless animals they held captive and abused….

Theres a new policy that was implemented last year that you can no longer film on the hayride. From what the organizers said the reason is cause it spooks the horse thats part of the hayride experience

#MOREBUMPSAHEAD. I remember Canada's Wonderland a lot. I went to school with Rodney Joyce, after he died it bug me a lot walking around Wonder Mount after Rodney died, I think about Rodney, he was two or three years older & me. I remember in 80s at Canada's Wonderland. Thank you sharing this with me, I remember first time I saw the Bat ride, I remember blue ice cream , early 1900s ride, Smurf village, many more too.

Go there now in 2024 there’s no rides operating, barely any animals to see aside from the dolphins and belugas, no shows and a kids water park… that’s it. You basically experience nothing for the cost of a ticket

What's the room in the wax museum like?

That haunted ride that is being built is originally from Rye Playland in NY. And was built there in 1971. Originally it was just called Haunted Mansion but was rebranded to Flying Witch sometime in the 90s and they added that graffiti art to the walls. Lots of history and sad to see it gone from our park. But glad its going to be put to good use at yours. Enjoy!

Chase Bank is no longer headquartered in downtown Rochester. Now it is headquartered in Canandaigua New York.

It’s probably considered lame now but I remember going there when I was 8 and there were huge lineups for it. Man, I miss the 80s.

I haven't been to this park since 1997 (I'm hoping to get back there someday), and back then, my home park Six Flags Darien Lake had similar flat rides to what Canada's Wonderland has. Darien also had a Huss UFO which I like better than Knightmares because, the UFO was on a hill and seemed very tall and also when getting on the ride, you looked down into a pit. Back then CW had a rare Huss Skylab that was very fun to ride (So Loco/Orbiter) and DL has a rare Heintz Fahtze enterprise.

Cool video! The Drop Tower and Sledgehammer are my favorite as well. I went on the Sledgehammer for the first time last month. I am just getting into flat rides since I worry about spinning around too much. I now take gravol before going on these. I may need to try more flat rides since I mostly ride coasters.

I remember TWICE when I went on Krachenwagen this year everybody was jammed up in one area and a majority of them, it seemed, were not very good listeners, because they were constantly told how to get free yet most were still stuck.

Man this brings back memories of the Youth Fair in Miami. Bringing Holsum bread bags for the discount on all-rides passes and entry. LOL. Good to have a family member who worked in a Dade-County school cafeteria.
