I saw a video awhile ago showing that these devices are being made in garages using 3d printers for the plastic parts and parts from old cell phones for the electronics. Plus I also heard that some of this is being done by organized crime who use several overseas factories to make the different parts in bulk runs and then assemble the parts here. The problem is that the government wanted to save money so they decided not to use the chip type cards which cannot be skimmed.

why dont they ever talk about the companies that actually manufacture these skimming devices and going after those companies ?

Yes they should shut them down asap
In New York they don’t let you freeze your card
You don’t use your EBT Card at every store. Pick a major grocery store and stick to those 2 stores. Only shop where you are known.
