Just got this flashlight over a week ago with the free 2.0 battery from HD. Got lucky before they went out of stock again. Couldn't be happier. Now it's my most used light. Great video as always 👍
This light serves me very well when I have to work under the hood of my Jeep during the night and it sticks very well to my hood and takes a pretty considerable amount of force to get it to come off
I was working on a truck, had it stuck to the muffler. Forgot it was there and drove to the parts store. Realized it was lost, checked the muffler and it was still here, lol
I always get so excited when I see Tim has a review for a product I’m interested in. Love the personality, videos, and your taste in tools. Keep up the awesome work please!
I don't need this, but I really want this. I always have a couple Milwaukee batteries fully charged. This would be great for emergency power outage situations. Phone charging plus light.
In electrical we need lights all the time since we often are working to get the light on. Really like the look of this for the size and flexablity. The phone part just makes it amazing. Just wish it was a lil bit cheaper. 40 bucks max honestly.
Very strong, got a 6.0 amp attached to mine and i have to pull on it good to come off...works really good on flat surface...ive put on a round surface too and it holds pretty good still.
i want to get this, been oos with free battery at hd for too long...i think the current deal ends 3/21. such a fail. i have had notifications on, but nothing.
Hmm I would have like to see this a USbc charging for this device.. I guess that would go against the whole Milwaukee m12 branding.. the light color is soft yellow , not blue. And it’s not waterproof. Just a few things a noticed.. I’m a I’m plumber and In case a bunch of water comes out of a pipe this light might be screwed.. Seems like a great light not sure if this would be my go to light for a service man plumber
I think rover is a good branding name for the purpose of those lights. They all take different batteries to distinguish. Thanks for the video and comparison.

Let's be serious, 700 lumens with a M12 4.0 battery and it only does 24 hours? That is very very weak, I guess they want to leave a lot of room for a future Fuel version, in fact many more versions of this overpriced light. My LED flashlight Coast G650 1400 lumens bought it for $19.99 at home depot months ago, this flashlight with 6 AA batteries can run on high at 1400 lumens for 4 hours and 33 hours at 185 lumens, the rechargeable AA batteries it uses can be recharged 500 times👌bough best AA rechargeable batteries on the market pack of 4 for $6👌 The coast flashlight doesn't have a magnet but I put a lanyard on it and I can hang it from the open hood and it lights everything up, it also has settings for low or high and focus beam and a 265 meter beam distance 😳 700 lumens? 😂 I'm scratching my head on this one 👌

Thanks for letting us know. This is a very handy light that performs really well also. Thanks for watching.
I drove over the original rover light with my work truck dually. It did deform a bit but still Works many years later.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching.

That's awesome. Great to hear that it's working well for you. Thanks for watching.

Always watch these before purchases! Great vid!
Awesome! Thank you!

I love this little lamp
No doubt, this is a great little light
That intro was 👌🏻😂
I so now want a rover light!
Thanks are there any milwaukee lights with colour temp adjust? Bright white led light is jarring would be nice to warm it a bit.
Did you get the battery deal at the depot? I can never catch it before it sells out.
No, we did not. Thanks for watching.
No, we did not. Thanks for watching.
I have the same issue
they sell out quickly but I'm determined to wait out the frenzy and look for a special buy deal.
Really want to know just how strong the magnet is.
It is very strong, The light really doesn't budge under it's own weight. Thanks for watching.

Needs an air tag so when I forget it I can find it.
Nice review, just ordered mine
Great review..love the light, just bought one

That light would make a good emergency light if it runs that long for power outages
Awesome
Thanks for watching.
I wonder what the runtime is on a 3.0 and 6.0 battery

7:45 The magnet on that light doesnt seem very strong. I have a bunch of M12 batteries, so the Service & Repair LED will be my next purchase.
Its actually quite strong...ive got an m12 6.0amp with it and you have to put a decent amount of pull on it especially on flat metalic surface
Thats a custom shock set. Lol I bet that was a rough ride making that happen.
How does that utv shock, bend like that? Lol
Good question! It just magically happened after a couple of guys rode it. Thanks for watching.
Who uses low?
Losers! Lol. Thanks for watching.
What brand peg board do you have behind you?
Wall Control. Thanks for watching.
To be fair oil is not electrically conductive so even a non water rated light would survive.
Ok, smarty-pants, stop making us look bad! 🤣 lol. We're trying look good over here. Thanks for watching.
@@Shoptoolreviews Haha, love the videos!
Oil is electrically conductive. That's how Mercedes and BMW oil health monitors work. By looking at the conductivity change of the oil.

Thumbs up..
I should took advantage when was on stack... I might have to wait now
We understand. Thanks again for watching our vids.
Why name any Rover? :)
Good point! Thanks for watching.
The rover may need some lubrication once in a while 😉
This item is currently out of stock 😢
Are you serious? From the Home Depot? That's a bummer. I believe that ACME Tools has them in stock. Thanks for watching.
70 bucks for a flash light no battery.
Would of been nice to know weight without battery....
Why? How can you use a light without the battery? Thanks for watching.
I think for the money 750 lm is weak, soft start is lame, they can keep that and give us at least the option for 1500 lm.
For a handheld light that offers true color, this is pretty good. It's. very usable flood light. Thanks for watching.
Ever tried to work on something at 1500 lumens?

@@Greenmachine305 haha exactly… try working on something when the sun is out even when it is night
Its always good to have all dat light, but it doesn’t mean your gonna use it all day. Only use it whenever you need it, common sense dummy lol.
...Everything is awesome..
But need a better Magnetic Technology..After time of use..the magnet loses strenght../.
24 hours on 100 lumens doesnt mean shit. 700 lumens is about 2 hours from what I read which is a joke.
